Review: I was considering utilizing this company instead of renting a sound system for a wedding DJ job. So on Wednesday October 8, 2014, I used the chat feature and talked to the rep about [redacted] system, Item #[redacted]. I told them, I had purchased with them before under the payment plan and would like to purchase this system under the 12 month payment plan. So the rep said he would ask the supervisor and see if I could get approved for 12 month plan. The rep told me, they would email later in the day if I was approved or not . Later in the day, I received a from [redacted] that informed I was approved: [redacted] Wed, Oct 8, 2014 1:03 pm

To: [redacted] Dear[redacted], your request to order item [redacted] on the 12 pay plan has been approved. You will need to call and place your order over the telephone at ###-###-#### and let the sales rep know that this has been approved; I have noted your account.

The very next morning, on October 9, 2014, I called the number and placed the order with the rep, he stated on the phone, that he seen the notes and he took my credit card info for the first payment and said he would send me a confirmation email for the delivery. I proceed to cancel my rentals I was going to do, assuming that my products were going to be ordered. Two day later, I noticed that my confirmation email was never sent, so I called the customer service department. They lady on the phone told me my order was cancelled and I was amazed, as I did not receive a email or call about this! She then told me I needed to talk to the credit department. so I got on the phone with them and that rep told me I was not approved. I told them I was already approved and she said no, they asked someone and they also refuse to confirm order. They said if they granted order, it could mess it up for other customers. I said this had nothing to do with that.Desired Settlement: First, to receive a apology for the whole incident, next to have my promised item shipped overnight/expedited delivery and placed on the 12 month plan as told I was approved!!!!! If not pay for my rental for the wedding DJ gig I have at the now higher rate I have to pay because of this.

Review: 1 Bose MIE2 Mobile Headset For Smart Phones 129.95 brought on 3/20/2014, Deceptive Sales practices in Advertising. I ordered a Bose Mie2 from American Musical Supply company out of Oakland, NJ of which when I order the headphones, you barely see the link that says return conditions and it is not in the shopping cart. What you do see is where it says for any reasons you are not satisfied, you can return the item within 45 days, clear, legible. I returned the faulty item to find out they are now saying do to health reasons, earbuds cannot be returned, but that is not clearly stated on the site while ordering. My complaint is you see the 45 day money back guarantee clearly in the center of the page, but unless you are looking for it, you will miss the return conditions link that is not bolded. I believe this is purposely done to get the purchase knowing there is no 45 day return on items where earbuds due to health reasons cannot be returned.Desired Settlement: I want to have them put the information in bold print and also in the shopping cart that items like ear buds, etc are not returnable due to health laws. Fine, ok, but I am 54 yrs old and did not see the return link and I know someone 70-80 yrs old or younger with compromised vision will not see or notice this link. You only know or see this after you find out you're not getting a return of your money back. I also would like my money back based on their return policy which is fact in bold print that not satisfied within 45 days...return. They put that in bold print!!!

Therefore I would like a refund because knowing I couldn't return this item, I would have never bought it.

We have checked our banking records on our aend and show a successful deposit to his account for $129.95 which is for the total amount of his order with us.

I am rejecting this response because:The money has been refunded to my account, this part is true however they are not any one company I believe anyone should do business with. They say they don't take back merchandise because of state laws regarding ear plugs, however you sell refurbished merchandise that someone has brought back and then you re-manufacture it, then sell it. Also, it took a letter to the Revdex.com to what do what should have been good customer service, refund the customer's money for faulty product. Long story short of it, if the company . had refunded my money, I would have bought the OEM instead of the referb and if the OEM was in good working order, they could have had a customer for life. Because we had to go this route, now I want nothing at all to do with them including the magazines they still send me and I will let my network know the customer experience I have had with this vendor. What would a company want to keep a customer's money if their product doesn't work, how do you take money for what you have not earned?Terrible, terrible customer experience. That is all.

Review: I made an online purchase last night at midnight for a guitar case. A few hours later I found out the case I ordered was the wrong one. I sent 2 E mails & called this morning as soon as they opened. They told me they couldn't cancel my order because it was already shipped. I told them there was no way this item was already processed & shipped 7 hours later no one has a turn a round time that fast. They clearly just didn't want me to cancel the order I asked for a tracking number which they didn't have for me because obviously it hasn't shipp yet. Again they claimed it was on the Fed Ex truck on its way to me already but with no tracking number. This company is run by a bunch of crooks & thieves with the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Do they think if it arrives that I'll just accept it despite the fact that it's the wrong case or do they just want to hassle me ?Desired Settlement: I want the order cancelled like I have been asking for since an hour after the purchase was made & I want my paypal account credited for the charge Asap

After contacting American Musical Supply inc. They said no refunds.

Now I'm out the money I've spent and nothing to show.

I feel as if I was robbed by this company.Desired Settlement: Refund my original money

Gift cards at this point from this company would be a slap in my face

Review: In there sale magazine winter 2015 they list a Korg Kronos 8 88 for the price of $2999.99 its on page 145 of there book but when I call to buy this item they will not sell it to me for the price in the book and the sales book just came out tuesday so I'm hoping you can do something about this. They should have to sell the item for what they listed it for . Desired Settlement: To be able to buy the Korg Kronos 8 88 for what it is listed for. And its the new one for this year. Thanks

Review: On March 18th 2015 (Wednesday) I called customer service to place an order. During the call I was given information that the New Jersey Office of American Musical Supply had revoked my credit line due to canceled orders and returns (that is untrue however). A lot of the issue is them (CSR at American Musical) being unwilling to discuss the not only the reason for revoking my credit line but then saying even if I pay full price for items I cannot make any returns. On 3/4 I bought a set of EMGs and no issues were stated with the rep in chat regarding returns at my own expense versus using the label they provide as long as I could provide tracking. I paid for USPS to ship the items in the original box and now I am told after I have to pay for the label they emailed that I did not ask for (6.25) against the refund. All in all the employees at the call center level were and continue to be extremely rude. It seems they expected me to read there minds. How was I to know that this was a problem? Canceling orders and 1 return to get treated like a 2nd class citizen. I DONT READ MINDS!!Desired Settlement: Also remove the pending hold on the order I canceled after you informed me that I could not return it!!! 183 on the 3 pay is held pending on my card now after I told the CSR do not touch or run my card and I also said I better not see a hold on my card at ALL now I am out 10 days on this and AMS refuses to remove the hold. My [redacted] company says while they do not have to reverse the hold they have made a note about my stating not to run my card at all!!! Also the return needs refunded in full and I will not take less that 75.00

Review: American Musical Supply offers a 3-payment plan for orders under $1,000 on their website. I purchased a few items from them, including a guitar and an effects pedal, in December. I made the first payment upon checkout using a [redacted] and the 2nd payment using my debit card (exp [redacted]).

On February 16th I received an e-mail notifying me that my next payment coming up. In the e-mail, it very clearly states "The expiration date and credit card type you have provided, [redacted], will automatically be charged the amount of $284.56 approximately 5 days from this e-mail."

Seeing that, one can assume they are going to charge the [redacted]. Turns out, they didn't. They charged my [redacted] which is my debit card, and as such I've incurred two overdraft fees totaling to $70, and a rent late fee which is $50 with my landlord, due to me having insufficient funds in my bank to pay rent in a timely manner.

I e-mailed the company a few times before getting on their live chat service and threatening action, at which point, I received an e-mail from a [redacted] at AMS stating "Looking at your account, it looks like you changed your card information for your January payment and never called back to changed the card back. The email you received for your final payment due in February is a pre generated email."

They have told me, basically, that they're not responsible for the own information their system sends out and that they'll do nothing to assist me.

At this point I still cannot pay rent, and my bank will not reverse the overdraft fees on this (but may after I show them the e-mail chain which absolves me of guilt in this situation).Desired Settlement: I would like American Musical Supply to either refund the last payment to my debit card so that I can pay rent on time, at which point I'll resend them a payment via [redacted] or EFT. I would also like compensation for the two $35 overdraft fees I've incurred, which totals to $70. The late fee with my landlord is also $50.

Review: I purchased this item a mixer from American musical supply with are two years extend warrant I call American musical supply and talk to customer service they told me to send it to they people I send it on 1/27/2014 and it is 2/24/2014 and still haven't received my Item I complaint to management talk to one them and he told me to buy a new one and Bing rude that's one I say I going to do what I doing now telling me buy a newDesired Settlement: I just want my item back or replace it with a new one and honor the contract agreement and I had two wedding to do and I could not do them

To whom it may concern;[redacted] purchased an item with our company on 4/17/12. The customer notified us and said the item wasn't working properly on 12/30/13. He was notified at the time of returning the item under warranty that the process could take a few weeks before he would have the item fixed. The item was sent back to our Extended Warranty company, TSI. The item was shipped back to the

customer on 2/25/2014 and the customer acknowledge he has the item. The product is not broken or defective; the

customer is trying to run phantom power through the wrong jack so it won’t work

and it is also causing the red lights to not work correctly because the

customer is doing this incorrectly.
