I started an account at American National a little over two weeks agoThey have taken over two weeks to get a debit card for meMy free checking account requires that I make debit purchases a month in order to avoid banking feesI just got an email yesterday [redacted] , stating that I did not make the debit purchases this monthNow I am looking forward to being chargedI went by the 90th street branch to see if my card was inJust my pin and they wouldn't give it to meI haven't even received a courtesy call about my debit card This bank is not a good place to keep your moneyHorrible customer service I will not be keeping my money with American National

I started an account at American National a little over two weeks ago. They have taken over two weeks to get a debit card for me. My free checking account requires that I make 12 debit purchases a month in order to avoid banking fees. I just got an email yesterday [redacted], stating that I did not make the 12 debit purchases this month. Now I am looking forward to being charged. I went by the 90th street branch to see if my card was in. Just my pin and they wouldn't give it to me. I haven't even received a courtesy call about my debit card.
This bank is not a good place to keep your money. Horrible customer service.
I will not be keeping my money with American National.
