The complainant contacted our office for the first time today, Wednesday, March 07, 2:PM by email. At 3:PM we responded to him and escalated the claim to a claims manager. The claims department is central time so at the time of his email the manager was already gone for the
day. We have already let the complainant know that we are now aware of this and checking on things for him. We advise that the claims representatives were already gone for the day and someone would be in touch tomorrow. We have also explained to him that typically, the property owner would want to get any water leaking stopped, document the damages/ cause and start cleaning up regardless of coverageThe claim approval process can take different amounts of time depending on each situation. They must have the cause determined and all details
