The Branch Manager at Acre Mortgage was very unprofessional with my home buying processHe never communicated any information to myself or my realtor other than my application was in underwriting and that was weeks agoI was set to close on Nov 30th but had to request an extension for Dec 8th due to Mark W*** not starting the paperwork until Nov 10th even though my contract had been pending since Oct 1stWe had to contact the corporate office twice because Mark would never return our calls to provide a status of the loanNow today is Dec 8th the potential closing and Mark W*** still has not contacted anybody about the status of my loanHe gave me the run around for days when I could have potentially been dealing with another lenderThe title company, realtor, and myself are beyond disappointed in the way this branch manager handled us
I had a great experience with Acre mortgage, specifically with my loan officer Jim *** I managed to get an *** loan with the ** *** *** for a much lower rate than expectedI closed almost weeks earlier than originally scheduled, the offer was accepted the beginning of April and I closed May 17th, and I got cash BACK at closing! The whole process was so painless and Jim was there to answer all of my questions the whole timeHe even came to the closing to support meI would definitely go through this company again if I buy a house in the future
I recently represented my husband, *** ** *** as a realtor, for the purchase of our new home at *** *** *** *** *** ** *** Our initial contact was with Jay I***, who was incredibly helpful to the point that we followed him from *** *** to Acre Mortgage to complete our transactionAs a realtor, I do not expect any transaction to go smoothly, as they all have some bumps along the wayHowever, the repeated unnecessary delays they we've suffered have been above and beyond anything that I've experienced beforeIf we had settled on our original closing date, September 15th, we would have had months to complete repairs and move inHowever, Acre continued to delay our settlement week after week, despite the fact they we supplied all requested information within to hours of notificationThey are now in the process of selling our loan to *** ***, and insist that it is their responsibility to cut a check to our general contractor for our 203K

Worst mortgage experience I could have imagined I'm now out both valuable months not to mention thousands of dollars do to their shady practices
