standard process [redacted] sent the applicant an email telling her to complete the “institutions attended” section “by listing EVERY institution attended” and to arrange for official transcripts to be sent to [redacted]. In July 2016, the applicant called [redacted] regarding her status. During the 2015-2016 admissions cycle, the applicant had received multiple standardized emails from [redacted] regarding her application status to encourage her to log in and check the status of her application and materials. The applicant did not submit all official transcripts to [redacted] as required (the applicant listed 3 colleges but [redacted] received only 1 transcript). All applicants electronically sign a Certification and Authorization Statement before they can e-submit the application that includes, “... I am responsible for monitoring and ensuring the progress of my application.” The applicant’s history has been reviewed, and we believe [redacted] properly processed the application and communicated with the applicant. It would be unfair to other applicants to issue a refund to her. However, as [redacted] very much values all applicants, the service will offer to send the applicant a PDF copy of the 2015-2016 application, at no charge, to facilitate the applicant’s ability to re-apply in the 2016-2017 admissions cycle, or any future cycle, if she wishes to do so. Again, thank you for contacting APTA.Sincerely, American Physical Therapy Association
