I also had the similar experience with the technician that came to clean my pool. I had asked if scrubbing/cleaning the sides of the pool was included in the cost and I was assured that it was. Instead, the technician came in, put chlorine tabs in the floater, cleaned out the skimmer, and then left. Never scrubbing the sides of the pool. This happened on more than one occasion. I guess he thought no one was watching. After one month of service or lack thereof, I cancelled my service with them. I don't need someone to put chlorine tabs in my floater. I needed help with scrubbing the sides of the pool. Which NEVER got done. It is not the business per se, it is the people they hire and their lack of ethics.

They come out weekly to clean my pool, and week after week I have to call and have them come back and clean it. Because the guy just wants to put chlorine in and call it a day. And some weeks he doesn't show on his day and they company itself hasn't called to let me know that he won't be able to make it. So again I have to call them.

1. They neglected to do the simplest of care like emptying filters (which I would have to remind them to do). 2. They put chlorine tablets directly into weir filter which the next pool company said could damage the filters, they should have put the chlorine tablets in a floater device. 3. When speaking with the owner on a monthly basis, he continually blew off my concerns as if I was just bothersome customer, saying he would come by personally to assess the situation but never did.
