America Power Moving has the be one of the WORST moving companies that I've ever done business with moving interstateI see a lot of great comments for more local relocations and perhaps they should stick to local because their long distance hauling was a horrific experience Initially, everything seems fine when we made arrangements with Alex and Mike to use this company to move us from NJ to GA; however, upon arrival everything changedThe movers attempted to inflate pre-confirmed prices even illegally adding additional prices to the contract AFTER we signed it They did not keep their arranges with us on the delivery dateIt took us nearly a month to receive our itemsSpoke to Alex and he stated that they have days, though he promised us that our belongings would have been delivered the following week after pick up Drivers were foreign and extremely smelly and rude -- they, too, tried to charge us for moving belongings up stairs when Alex originally knew we had stairs in our new homeThey just truly attempted to nickle and dime this move for all it was worth and I think it had a lot to do with two young professional women moving They lost some of my belonging in transit, I notified Alex & Mike, they initially denied losing anything then later found my item; stated they would make arrangements to have it re-delivered at no chargeThere were no calls from them after that and Alex began ignoring my callsNever received anything indicating the day the items would be delivered; the drivers showed up at 11PM at night asking me "what's the big issue of them delivering that late"-- I made the is return in the daytime Items were delivered completely damaged, scratched and broken-- Alex did not want to accept responsibility then later offered $$60!! for something 10x that price Needless to say, I have file a claim with Revdex.comThese guys are crooks! Do yourself a favor and find another moving company, with integrity, if you're moving to another state

I spoke with Mike at American Power Moving Company regarding an estimate for a move from Philadelphia to OhioI gave Mike an ESTIMATE of the items of had in the houseMike gave me a price of for the move On 0317, Mike sent movers from his company in New York to Philadelphia to move us The movers arrived at 12:30pm with an extra small truck with graffiti on it, there were two men, but only one guy moving our belongingsThe other guy was not moving our stuff but instead was documenting everything we had, to charge us more money than estimated I, my mom and son had to help the movers move our belongings because we had to leave to catch our bus by 3:00pm and only one guy was moving everything which caused us to almost miss our bus to OhioAt the end of the truck loading, I paid the guy who documented everything 50% of the priceThe other guy who was moving our belongings approached me and was begging me to pay him a tip and give him foodHe stated that Mi
We hired American Power Moving to move our belongings half way across the country to our new home We have a number of complaints, described below, about their misrepresentation of cost and timing and the general non-responsiveness Our most pressing complaint right now is that the movers damaged or destroyed the majority of our furniture, and also caused damage to our home In addition to damaging our home and the majority of our furniture, the movers lost a necessary piece to our son's high chair, which they apparently disassembled at their warehouse, rendering it unusable Our contract provides that we should be reimbursed for these damages, but American Power will not respond to our emails or telephone calls It has now been two weeks since we first alerted them to the damage and asked for a claims form We have not received any communication in response to our phone calls and emails whatsoever In addition, American Power charged us over 50% more than the initial binding
I used American Power Moving twice already, once for my house and once for my business Mike and his crew are very professional, reliable and kind The guys arrived in the morning, very energetic and ready to work The guys packed everything very carefully and I have a lot of fragile stuff for my business The price was very affordable and the service was amazing Thank you American Power Moving
