Mr [redacted] I am sorry we have had so many issues with your moveWe failed to do our jobs properly and get the appropriate paperwork signedIf we had we would be charging you the appropriate amount for services rendered and you would have your belongingsWe have had an internal discussion and we will not let this happen againBecause of this error you got 5800# with packing moved at a 4000# move only priceThe price for your move should have been $4308.66, you paid $Again because we do not have the proper paperwork there is no recourse for us on this loss; and since the paperwork was not signed we have no obligation to deliver your overflow.So we have an overflow in our warehouseAgain since we have no paperwork (read contract) we will not move the overflowWe are offering you three solutions:have another mover come to our dock and they can get your itemsWe will not charge anything to you for this realizing we are losing revenue on pick up and storage feesWe will move the items back to your townhouseAgain we will charge you nothing to do thisWe will again absorb the loss of our pick up and redelivery chargesWe haul the items to youIn order to do this we will need a signed contract before we move anything and we will need to be paid in full before we startYour cost for this is $By doing this we will still be losing $on your move, but to make this happen we are willing to take this loss.I will be sure we have the proper systems in place so we do not allow a move to occur without a signed contractThis is the second time this has happened in yearsIt will not happen againWe have lost $so far on your move (the difference between 4000# we estimated on the phone at the 5800# we actually moved.) Our office advised the customer that a claim form needed to be completed and returned within days and that it can take up to days for the claim to be processed In addition, when the claim form was sent to the customer via email, it was also stated that the process can take at least days This customer was sent the claim form on December 22, The customer returned the claim form the same day, however, it was not completed The customer was advised on December 22, to complete the form with all information, sign and return to our office On December 27, 2016, the customer was sent an email advising that we received on a picture of the signed portion of the claim form The customer was also advised we would need the entire form with the damage information before we could begin processing the claim We received the completed claim form on December 27, and the customer was advised again to allow up to days for processing.On January 23, the customer received a settlement email, per the terms and conditions of the signed contract My Guys Moving & Storage has made every attempt to settle this matter according the terms and conditions on the contract Please see attached documentation.Best Regards, Stephanie K***
