Mark Sweeney Buick GMC didn't make any paint/body repair to the vehicle in questionIt is not uncommon for GM to repair minor damage that is done during transit & they don't notify us if they do soThis vehicle was purchased back in February 2017, we cannot be responsible for any damages during the customers possession

4/26/2017In response to the complaint filed with [redacted] 1) The customer signed a Buyers Guide acknowledging that the vehicle was "AS IS NO WARRANTY"2)The customer also signed a Due Bill acknowledging that nothing was due by the dealer after the sale as far as good will service, and the Due Bill also stated the vehicle was AS IS NO WARRANTY.Mark Sweeney Buick GMC feels that it was made clear to the customer that the vehicle was AS is and did not have a warranty of any kind, aside from any oral statements that might have been made at the time of Sale. However, customer satisfaction is a priority for our dealershipTherefore, we will still try to do whatever is reasonable to resolve any hard feelings that a customer may have after the sale.In the "Desired Settlement" portion of the letter the customer has asked if the dealership will assist the customer in obtaining a reasonable warrantyMark Sweeney Buick GMC is willing to provide the customer a month 6,mile powertrain Warranty at No Cost to the customerIf the customer would like a longer or more extensive warranty than a powertrain Warranty, Mark Sweeney Buick GMC will pay $towards the cost of another warranty of the customers choosingWe feel this is reasonable and should meet the expectations of the desired settlement asked by the customer

The dealership agreed to pay Ms***'s remaining payments on her old lease. Those payments were made upon completion of the transaction.Ms*** signed docuemtiation at the time of delivery which clearly states that her vehicle would be inspected by a third party and that the third party would advise her of any amounts owed based on the results of the inspection. There is no documentation that indicates that Mark Sweeney Buick GMC would be responsible for any excess wear and tear on her vehicle

Customer stated his "other" issues mentioned in this last response were no longer issues he was going to pursue He said there were things that he found but was going to drop it He said he's taken care of them He said we can consider this complaint resolved

Therefore, we will still try to do whatever is reasonable to resolve any hard feelings that a customer may have after the sale.In the "Desired Settlement" portion of the letter the customer has asked if the dealership will assist the customer in obtaining a reasonable warranty. Mark Sweeney Buick GMC is willing to provide the customer a 6 month 6,000 mile powertrain Warranty at No Cost to the customer. If the customer would like a longer or more extensive warranty than a powertrain Warranty, Mark Sweeney Buick GMC will pay $500 towards the cost of another warranty of the customers choosing. We feel this is reasonable and should meet the expectations of the desired settlement asked by the customer.
