My antenna has been snapped off from the base. I went through this car wash on Sept 11th. When I noticed my antenna was gone was asked by a dealership if I had been through any car washes lately as those antennas are pretty durable. I said as a matter of fact yes.?The dealership said one of two things it was either unscrewed and someone took it or it got snapped off at a car wash. A mechanic looked at it and said it’s been snapped off. I called Pride Car Wash and was informed by Pepe to fill out an incident report at the car wash which I did. I heard from Federated Insurance a few days later and was informed to send by email pictures and an estimate to fix. I received a call today to tell me that over 400 cars went through that car wash within days of Sept 11th and no other claims were made so they aren’t responsible for the damage. Received excuses for not checking the camera video feed on entering the car wash even with providing the date and exact time I went through that car wash. Federated Insurance had no intention of paying on this claim loss so why bother having me get an estimate to repair and send in pictures. Just made it look good and wasted my time!

Damaged Passenger Tail light in automatic carwash.[redacted]SATURDAY, NOV. 14THAMERICAN PRIDEI went to the American Pride car wash on WakeForest Rd, Saturday the 14th of November. I purchased the $10 Automatic wash with my bank card. During the wash my rear passenger side tail light was damaged. I noticed the damage after I had left the car wash. When I returned a worker directed me to another worker whom appeared to be a manager. The manager entered the car wash while it was running, then returned and had another worker stop the spinning brushes. He then went back in and brought out some pieces out the tail light lens. He said "it is what it is" and walked off.. I spoke with the first worker and he directed me to the website to contact upper management and stated that I would likely have to come back to do an incident report. I called and left a message the same day, and followed up on Monday the 16th, as I wasn't sure if I had left a message with the right person. I was told by Mrs [redacted] that they company has a 10 year liability policy and that they will not pay for cars that are damaged if it is older than a decade. I was offered a free car wash for my trouble. I countered with an offer to share 50% responsibility of the cost for a very discounted online replacement part for my damaged light but was refused. There is no dispute of the damage from the company, but my question is are they not legally liable based on a company and what I was told is an "industry norm".Sincerely,[redacted]Desired SettlementThe replacement cost of my tail light.Business Response The customer has been refunded for the cost of the tail light lens.

LIGHT BLEW OF VEHICLE AFTER GOING THROUGH CARWASH.My husbsnd and I visited the Newbern Avenue location of American Pride Carwash it was either the 8th or the 15th and my back rear light on the top blew off my vehicle (Esclade). The attendant saw it blew off and alerted us that it blew off. He shared the number with us of the owner to report the damages. I notified them that next week of the damage and provided a quote for to the owner. He wanted to meet with us at that location. We meet there and he did not want to talk with me about my vehicle. He was very rude with me that the pressure was not strong enougth to blew off my light. He started talking to my husband and agreed to pay half of the quote to replace my light. I was very offended that he was rude to me. I will never bring my car back to that establishment again. I was so upset with him for not acknowleging that my car was damaged at his establishmen and his attendant saw it. I want my light replaced immediately. The cost of the light was $400 plus tax this quote was from [redacted]. . Desired SettlementI would like the agreed half promised to my husband. Business Response Mr. [redacted] entered our TOUCHFREE wash in his wife's 2005 Cadillac Escalade. During the wash cycle, his 3rd brake light bar blew out of the casing. The pressure from the arch is not strong enough to blow out the 3rd brake light bar unless it was already broken and/or compromised. The vehicle is 9 years old and the piece was very expensive. We denied the claim but to provide customer satisfaction, we sent them a check for half the cost of the light. This complaint has been addressed and is closed. Thanks.
