She was happy enough with the work to pay us in full, and that day she asked us if we would come back the following month for several other jobs at her homeWe received one voicemail from Mrs***I returned this call, was unable to leave her a voicemail due to an error message on her cell phone, and then received a letter regarding her complaint to the Revdex.comThis all happened over the course of the last two weeks of AugustThen we received the initial Revdex.com letter the first week of SeptemberDining Room: The paint used for ALL areas of the work we did for her was supplied by Mrs***The cans were labeled by roomThe one we used for her dining room was labeled "DINING ROOM"I am sorry she is unhappy with the "flat" way that it dried, but we do not redo work because the customer supplied the incorrect paintWe offered to come back and paint her entire dining room ceiling with new paint for an additional cost, but she declinedThere really is no other optionDen: We gave Mrs*** an option to try to get an expensive plaster repair done inexpensively, as requested by Mrs***We told her that the correct way to fix the problem would be to remove all track light fixtures, remove the joint seam tape all the way across the 12-foot ceiling, retape, plaster, texture, prime and paint to finishWe would have charged over a thousand dollars for that job, but Mrs*** wanted a cheaper optionWe told her that we could not guarantee how it would look, as it was not the proper way to do the jobShe felt that for $it would be worth a try, and we even told her we would take that $off the top of the bigger job if she decided she was not happy with the final resultsWe did patch the seam the best we could without removing tapeWe then primed and painted (using the paint provided by Mrs*** that corresponded to that room)We also used two coats of Kils stainblocker to the areas that were stainedWhen we returned after the job had been completed, Mrs*** turned the light off in the den and identified additional areas that were stained not originally seen or priced. Mrs*** has said that she "feels she got taken by someone she trusted to do a good job"This is not at all the caseWe even did $worth of extra work for Mrs*** on June 10th and did not charge her for itThat's the kind of people we areOur company is a two man operation run by two teachersWe do work only through our church, and a great deal of our work is volunteer work for disabled/senior citizens, and families in crisis through the *** *** ** *** ***For the *** *** ** *** ***, we recently installed stair railings for a father of four returning home from surgery for a brain tumorThere was no charge for our services, and we have done this type of volunteer work often for our church familiesThis is not a company that "takes advantage of people" or that "needs a lesson in work ethics" as Mrs*** statedIt is unfortunate that Mrs*** feels that way.American Pride Remodeling440-263-
