Review: I purchased a 2013 [redacted] toy hauler from American RV last year. On our way to Moab over fall break, October 28, a gust of wind blew our camper to the side. We had an empty water tank and 2 ATVs loaded in the trailer. It bent the axel mounts and bent the frame. We dropped the camper to American RV on October 30. The insurance paid out over $8000 to have it fixed. When we picked up the camper the axel brackets were still bent and the tire was rubbing in the same place. [redacted] in collision (super nice guy) said he would give me a free alignment and ask the mechanic what was going on with the fix. He never contac[redacted] me. [redacted], my sales person, said he would contact the [redacted] sales rep. [redacted] never returned my call. It has been 12 weeks.[redacted] trailers should not break in this way due to wind and American RV should stand behind what they sell. I have missed a trip to Moab and Florida [redacted]Desired Settlement: The wind should not cause this problem. It is a factory defect and I want a replacement trailer.
