American Rare Coin and Bullion Reviews (%countItem)

If I could leave a 0 star review I would.
I made an order for the 5 oz eagles for 13 per oz an my friend 4 hours away asked me to order him some for him cuz he didnt have his bank card (lost it) and it was fine for them to take the order a week or so ago and even when I called to check on the order but today they are saying that the order my friend wanted is going to be refunded ... I guess they got butthurt by the price they sold em for and what they are going for online. RUNNNNNN FARRRR AWAYYYY FROM THIS PLACE.

AD--"ENTER TO WIN 5 FREE SILVER EAGLES" WAS TOLD YOU "HAVE TO PURCHASE TO ENTER" ADD DOES NOT SAY THAT.

American Rare Coin and Bullion Response • Dec 11, 2018

Visited with Mr.. Walked him through how to enter drawing on our website, with NO purchase . He was happy and said he would call Revdex.com to explain his misunderstanding of process.

excellent coin shop!

I was originally impressed with the level of service I received from Imperial. However, after my second order things began to take a turn. It was no long taking the stated 10 days until my delivery, it turned into three weeks, and one time over a month, before I received my coin(s). The money was always withdrawn from my account immediately, upon my order (over the phone). However, I would not receive my coin(s) until well beyond the promised 10 day mark. Twice I was promised additional coin(s), as a "valued customer," that never came.
Being a new customer I didn't do the homework that I should have or I would have realized much sooner that I could have gotten that same item elsewhere for almost half of what I paid.
Also, they would often talk about their confidence in the value of their coins and their willingness to buy them back...BUT...any discussion for the potential of buying the coin back would be avoided.
I believe Imperial has high valued coins, but, they may be over priced and slow to deliver. Perhaps they have not been able to honor their promise to send "valued customer" coin, because they have forgotten that commitment by the time the finally send the purchased coin.

I ordered coins valued @ $863.69 on web-site May 27, 2018. Posted May 28, 2018. June 6, 2018 I called Imperial and spoke to *** asking where my coins were. He said he needed to know I was a real person! For Real!!! Today is June 14, 2018 and I still haven't heard from him or received my coins. I'm contacting the FBI tomorrow if they, Imperial Currency, do not respond to my email. I tried to call, but the mailbox was FULL.

You rate them A+? Go *** yourself.
I don't use Revdex.com anymore for my business because I think you SUCK!

American Rare Coin and Bullion Response • Jun 21, 2018

At this point customer has received his order. We explained vetting for online orders take longer than phone orders or in house orders.

He also let me know that he will contact the Revdex.com to let you know that the order arrived. Please let me know if there is any other attention we need to pay to this matter.

Thanks,

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12912317, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I did receive my products from the vendor after complaint was filed. Thank You Revdex.com!

Sincerely

I placed an order from a VFW magazine for 2017 Silver eagle coin. After talking to *** at Imperial Currency, I also purchased a 2017 Platinum 100 Dollar Proof 70 with the signature of *** Director of the mint which is only 1 of 54 made making a coin high profit potential for $2600.00 with the understanding that if I didn't like the coin I could return it for a refund. Upon receiving the coin, it didn't meet my expectations. I returned the coin registered and insured back to Imperial Currency. After couple of days I called *** for how long it would take for the refund. He told it would take up to 72 hours. That did not happen.I called again after that waiting period and he told me it was still being processed. This went on for almost another week. I called a total of 5 times with one flimsy excuse after another. Each time he told me he would call me back with the status. He never once called me back as I had to initiate each call. I then realized some kind of fraud was going on.Your attention regarding the refund of $2600.00 would greatly appreciated. Thank you

American Rare Coin and Bullion Response

In response to Mr.,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Your refund has been issued. We apologize for the inconvenience and would like to assure you this is not typical and in no way is this fraud as you mentioned. It was an accounting snafu. We are an A+ Accredited business with the Revdex.com and did not get the rating by not doing business the right way. Thank you for your business and please let us know if we can help you in the future.

If you would like to discuss the matter further please phone, ask for The GM ***.
