I opened a claim approximately February 16th, for bursted pipes and major water damage to three rooms in my home
I called on the 16th, the adjuster (male) was working for Sara LJ*** and called on the 17th to make an appointment for February 22nd to estimate the damage
The gentleman was kind, personable and seemed emergent in his actions to help me take care of my horrific situationHe knew I didnt have running water, and my floors were soggy and ruined along with my walls and televisionMy bed was damaged as wellThe gentleman said he would call me soon to let me know what action would be taken in regards to my situation
I didnt hear back friday the 26th so I called Sara's officeShe told me they had business days to give me an estimate and she hadnt heard from her worker about the damage
I haven't been able to live in my home, it isn't liveable without running waterI called her the following monday on February 29thI asked for the status of my claimTo my surprise, she exclaimed she hadnt heard back from her workerShe also claimed I could live in my home and fix my issues myself...I explained that under the circumstances I am paying someone to stay at their home and paying my bills and couldnt afford to fix anything at this timeShe said the pipes werent coveredSara also told me my stay elsewhere isn't coveredI told her mold was growing and you can smell mildew and she argued it was impossibleI told her that she didnt know how bad it was, she wasn't the one who came outI have flood insuranceI have living expense insurance as well
I was irritated, I called the insurance company itself as Sara is just an adjusterThey also wondered why they hadnt heard anything on the claimAgain, I explained my dilemaI wasn't able to resolve the issue
I kept getting the run around from agents, and people did not return my calls after the 29thI received a letter today, March 7th dated March 1st, stating my pipes and mold are not covered...but nothing about any of the extensive damage to my home or belongingsI'm not sure how to repair my home when I had full coverage insurance that I pay very well to keep and I am not even able to live there at this time
Needless to say I am living on the edge and very stressed outIf I had the choice, I would go with a better, more honest company that cares about their customers well-being
After months finally settled Insurance adjuster was a jerk then sent me a check that I had to drive out of the state of Texas cash

After 3 months finally settled Insurance adjuster was a jerk then sent me a check that I had to drive out of the state of Texas cash
I opened a claim approximately February 16th, 2016 for bursted pipes and major water damage to three rooms in my home.
I called on the 16th, the adjuster (male) was working for Sara L. J[redacted] and called on the 17th to make an appointment for February 22nd to estimate the damage.
The gentleman was kind, personable and seemed emergent in his actions to help me take care of my horrific situation. I was irritated, I called the insurance company itself as Sara is just an adjuster. They also wondered why they hadnt heard anything on the claim. Again, I explained my dilema. I wasn't able to resolve the issue.
I kept getting the run around from agents, and people did not return my calls after the 29th.
