From the looks of these very close up pictures of these minor imperfections I feel confident that we did a quality job on a basic concrete pad at a very reasonable price house $3,for a x pad with tear out and removalI believe this customer is making a mountain out of a molehill and only interested in receiving money backIf this customer had told me that he was interested in Perfection or something decorative we would have gone the extra links for the extra amount of moneyI'm sorry but that's just the way the world worksThere are many variations of a concrete job as to payment and qualityAny construction company or Concrete specialist will tell you the same concrete is not a perfect material and conditions have to be exactly perfectI can take you around to any concrete job and sho.w you some minor imperfectionsAny other complaints from this customer will be flagged or disputed and I believe so strongly that we did a fair job that if this harassment and defamation of character and slander continue legal action will be takenOur company has been doing quality work for years and will continue to do so for the next This is our first public complaint in that much timeI will not lie to anyone and say we haven't had complains in the past every company hasHowever all of our complaints have always been addressed but some are just unreasonableAnd some customers you just cannot pleaseI think almost anyone would agree

the only thing that went wrong with this job is the fact that my Foreman did give a date to start this job without my knowledgeOnce I got a signed contract and a deposit I scheduled this job for the 16th and I was there on the 16th or on the 17th and cleaned up and cut the Expansion Joints
on the 17thI've been asked for a final paymentthe job turned out beautiful it is nothing more than a concrete slab this is not decorative concrete but it does look nice and there is nothing wrong with itThe job was handled professionally between me and the customer *** ***Apparently he does not see it that way but that's why you deal with the owner of the company and not a foreman when it comes to payments and schedulingIn addition I offered him a discount at the end and a guarantee in writing for his concrete slabI believe I went above and beyond what I was expected to do

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The consumer has agreed to the resolution of $1,as a settlement that satisfies the contract and both parties go their own way. This is what the business had stated as a resolution

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I do not feel I am not making a mountain out of a molehill.  I am simply looking to get what I paid for.  I am actually flabbergasted at the fact that you said that "had I asked for perfection, you would have gone the extra mile".  I am just wondering what percentage of effort you put into my job.  I am pretty sure that when asking for a service to be rendered, anyone and everyone is looking for a perfect job or at least darn close.  You are correct at saying that this was not decorative in the aspect of stamped or washed.  The "minor imperfections" on my 18'x23' pad are not minor to a person who can see them within one week of completion and in broad daylight.  Especially by someone who was said to be a Union Finisher.  I can see a few marks in some hard to reach areas since it is literally attached to the house, but these are spread throughout.  These imperfections could be expected after a few years of use/weather or harsh use of dragging and pounding large items on it.  In no way shape or form have I Slandered your name or defamed your character.  Those terms are defined as spreading FALSE ACCUSATIONS against a person or business.  I have NEVER ONCE lied about any of the items I have addressed.  There are review sites set up to give the general public some insight on how a business transaction and/or services are conducted.  I am telling nothing but the truth.  It is part of the Declaration that I have the Freedom to voice my opinion.  As far as registering a complaint on the Revdex.com, this was to come to a mutual agreement between us.  Clearly it has not come to that yet.  Maybe it will, maybe it won't.  I am just using a means to get there besides going to the Small claims court.  It does not have to go in that direction.  If you would like to counter my claim with what you feel is appropriate, feel free.  If you look, your company does not have a single bad mark against them on my behalf on any of the review sites.  Your reputation is not tarnished.  This bantering back and forth is as far as its gone.  And just so you know, no one can see this exchange between us.  Whether or not (and I can tell you feel NOT) this back and forth is necessary, if you felt you were wronged in some way by a business, you would have taken action as well.  As you said, it is how the World works.  With that said, I feel as though I did not get what I believe to be a up to par job and was heavily disappointed.  It was basically like when you hope to get a brand new bike on Christmas morning, and instead you run down the stairs and see a basketball.
Regards,
[redacted]

Revdex.com spoke to Michael at business and the following was relayed: The customer still owes me money. We did complete the job late but there was no date of completion agreed to on the contract. There were a couple of small gaps between posts, we offered to return and address those issues but were not...

allowed to come back. I adjusted their bill and agreed to settle for $1,000. If they do not pay the amount owed I will be taking them to small claims court.
