The major US wireless carriers send these calls to American Roaming Network, Inc., as per the FCC Manual Roaming Order.
Customers can call our customer support line @ XXX-XXX-XXXX M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm EST for a complete refund. They may also request and receive a refund online at www.arnpinrefund.com. ARN does not own or operate any cellular towers or equipment and only provides services to the major US carriers that send traffic to us, from their network.

No! This is not satisfactory. You acquired my information without my consent and sold me a phone plan, that never worked, without disclosing properly that you were not affiliated with the phone company I was originally buying from. It should be clear that you are independent of other phone companies and you are able to hi-jack information on other cell phone users. You are deceiving, your service STINKS, and I'm certain the people behind this are not someone most of us want to associate with.

American Roaming Network (ARN) has already responded to this complaint and provided its information for consumer resolution, should this consumer need a refund for our services. Consumers further statements in this claim need to be addressed to the carrier that sent his call to to us for processing and from his complaint, in this case it appears to be Verizon. Verizon does play a message that states they are forwarding the call to a third party for processing. In addition, this consumer should inquire with the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) where it is very clear and very "legal" as to what the US Carriers are "REQUIRED" to provide for this service. Consumers are NOT required to purchase anything from ARN, but most do not "listen" to what they are hearing on our system, until after they have purchased. ARN has provided all that it can provide with this complaint and cannot respond to emotional outbreaks without any factual logic. I suggest the Revdex.com review complaints and responses, prior to allowing them to be filed, this is NOT a complaint, it an emotional statement, without fact. ARN considers this matter closed.

Sorry, I don't buy that! I can't believe major carriers send customers like me your way. I had an active account with plenty of air time and weeks of service left. When I attempted to do a simple phone number change to a different area everything went blank. No new number, no phone service at all. its like my account did not exist and now American Roaming was selling me a new plan. There is no way major carriers are giving you paying customers. American Roaming HI-JACKED my account. Beware of this company. You are probably going to read about these people in the news someday for deceptive practices. Something is not right. By HI-JACKING my account my phone was completely shut down and has not been active since. Here's the kicker, after purchasing a $15 plan from AR, it never worked. Not active for 1 minute. Total SCAM and RIP OFF! They state you can get a refund by calling or going online. BULL! If, these people scam you call your Credit Card provider and dispute it. Then do what I did and file complaints, that's the only protection we have against scammers like this. Look on the internet, manys complaints about these people. Not Good. DISPUTE IT! DISPUTE IT! DISPUTE IT! That's the only thing that gets these arrogant peoples' attention.

mislead by them
Heres the problem. I had just gotten a new cell phone, and when I turned it on for the first time,it said to answer there message.so thinking it was us cellular my new cell phone service, this before even receiving a new phone #.They said to make a payment of 25 dollars,so I did and never heard from them again.I thought I was setting up my phone with us cellular, they tricked me in to making that payment.I'm very upset with the whole thing, crazy!!

Desired Outcome

I just want my 25 dollars that they tricked me in to buying.

I was considering using this service on my old deactivated cellphone as an emergency backup to my currently active smartphone, but buyer beware that this company will not answer their toll free line or other listed line on their website, but will only get in touch at a later date which requires the caller to leave their name, phone number, email address, and credit card number. This is NOT a good sign for reputable business.

On 4/12/2019 I was looking for away for a family member to contact me via phone call while locked up. When I put the facility in it showed that secure tel worked with the facility I tried to activate the number they gave me I called the facility to find out secure tel doesn't work with that facility I've emailed them several times asking for the $45 to be credited back to my card and they aren't working with me on this they want me to purchase some post cards or some crazy stuff from them I said no I want my money back in full they offered 25 of the $45 I just want my money back as I can't use there service. I have told them I was going to contact Revdex.com and take legal action against them if they won't give me my money back. I just want my money back.
Product_Or_Service: Inmate phone calling service

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like to get my entire $45 back and for there website to inform the buyers of what facility they work with guarantee there service work's so nobody else falls victim to them again.

American Roaming Network, Inc. does not provide calling services to correctional facilities and/or offer a $45.00 service that would be charged to a credit card.
The consumer references making the purchase from secure-tel service where she researched the correctional facility and purchased the $45.00 service. THIS IS NOT AMERICAN ROAMING NETWORK.
Please reference their web site https://securustech.net/phone-products/
I would expect the Revdex.com to at least read the complaint as you can immediately see that the consumer is not even mentioning American Roaming Network, Inc. in their complaint details.
American Roaming network considers the matter closed, please remove us from this complaint.

I was not issued a refund and I have called *** times inquiring about it only to receive rude customer service and hang ups.
I purchased this airtime thinking it was activation for my new prepaid phone I purchased only to find out it was for roaming minutes only. I immediately called for a refund and was told it would be issued on Aug 9, 2018. I have called *** times, speaking with a ***, who was very rude, only to be told the credit takes 7-10 days to be returned and I have not received a credit yet. I called *** to speak with her supervisor and the owner got on the phone, ***, and over talked me and was just as rude as his employee. I was told to call my bank and ask them why I never got my credit and the owner hung up on me as well. I called on 8/9/2018, 8/10, and 8/14 and they gave me the same excuse each time.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a refund in the amount of $

This was refunded on American Roaming Networks merchant account and as explained to the customer, that once this is refunded with our merchant, we have no control as to when the refund will appear on her bank statement, as this was a "bank" card and NOT a credit card, which usually shows immediately on a credit card statement. We advised the customer to check with her bank and provided a refund reference # that is given to us by our Merchant account. Again, American Roaming Network cannot do anymore for this customer, once it is refunded on our merchant system, it is in the hands of her issuing bank.

Fraud! Directed me to buy a pin I cannot use! Stole $15 from my bank acct! Fraud!
I tried to add minutes to my phone. They directed me to pay for a PIN number that I cannot use. Took $15 out of my bank account and now I am stuck with not enough money to have phone minutes until maybe they refund me. This was s a fraudulent scheme to take people's money!! I will sue!!

Desired Outcome

I want my $ back plus $. 500 dollars for lack of a weeks worth of pay that I could be working for I need a phone # to apply for jobs and this bs scheme is putting me a week behind! No customer service to a real person- no immediate refund! Plus 2 hrs I've spent trying to figure out what to do! SCAM!!! All the way!!!

Charged my credit card for more money then I agreed to pay for. Didn't even get to use service
My daughter called me collect from her straight talk phone that has no minutes on it. When I answered it said $1.99 for the first min. And asked for my credit card. Thought it might be an emergency so I gave them my credit card info. As soon as I did they hung up on me. I never got to speak to my daughter. I later received an email from my credit card company saying I had a fraudulent charge. So I had to close that card and now have to wait 4 days to get a new one. Will I get my money back?

Desired Outcome

I would like my $10.99 back please
