I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The fact that I installed the clutch is not the issue, I have goverment and military training in mechanics as I was a 91bin the army which in lament terms is an all-wheel vehicle mechanicI have sufficient practice and training to do the repairs I didThe issue is that I was unaware of an additional fault in the vechicle's transmission/drive lineWhich is what lead to me contacting tri city auto to do the repairsI am finding the blatant lies being told by the representative for tri city auto desturbingWhen I spoke to ***, who is to my knowledge the lead mechanic and son of the owner, prior to towing my car to their shop the agreed price for diagnostics and repair would be $While the car was on their lot I stopped by a few time and spoke to *** about the on going repairs, during which I was told it was one issue after another, on one such visit *** and myself agreed on repairing and aligning the door and window of the driver sideThe fact that tri city auto bought a part is a mute fact as I was told all those parts were returned and I was not being charged for them as I was told to buy the parts myself and bring them to *** in an attempt to keep cost down. I would like the opportunity to change my desired outcome of this from payment for repairs at a different facility to refund and reimbursement, I was charged $for repairs by tri city auto and an aditional $by *** bringing the total to $As I have been forced by time to pay for the required repairs myselfThankfully *** took pity on me for allowing a deceptive and neglectful technician to work on my vehicle, and only charged me a diagnostic fee of $to fix tri city auto's mistakeI was told that "there was a wire connector rubbing on metal, in plain sight that any half decent mechanic should have seen"A quote from the mechanic that inspected my car. The fact that no paperwork was writen up or provided to me or even offered should be clue enough to the shady dealings going on inside tri city auto, and brings into question their taxes and ligitamy of their business practices.To conclude this rebuddle there was an agreement to repair the wondow and door on the driver side, the price of $was agreed upon before the car was towed to the shop, and the fact remain that I was given a half working vehicle that could have cause a traffic incidentI would like a refund and reimbursement in the total of $

This is Tri City’s response to ID# *** for *** ** ***First thing is *** did not bring his Ford Mustang for a transmission issue he brought it to us because he installed a clutch on his Mustang himself incorrectlyThe work he did was very unprofessional and he left bolts and
pieces off of the final installation and could not get the vehicle to runWe were trying to help him out with an issue he caused by not knowing what he was doingWe told him it would not be a priority and did not give him a deadlineHe was also down here on the lot when we worked on his vehicle and we never said we would do anything with his window. Tri City only charged total $for the repairs, we charged $for the part and $for the hrsthe Mustang tied up one of our baysWhen we finished the repairs for the clutch the Mustang was running like we committed to helping him withThere is no receipt or record on file from either partyThis is just a simple issue with trying to help someone out with a mistake they made and them not being happy we couldn’t fix everything they did incorrectly for $and that replacing one part would make the vehicle run like they just bought it brand new. Hello I received your complaint today and I am responding. So here is our side of it: On 11/20 2015 we did install wireless repeaters around the facility along with a 24 port poe ethernet switch we did not discuss any router of any kind that is their ISP's provision not ours as we do not provide...

internet service of any kind. However for what it is worth I have never seen a router cost $641.84. Upon completion of the installation [redacted] attempted to pay the bill 4 different times of which the credit card she gave us was declined after 1 week of talking with her they finally issued a check for the balance owed. Warranty is structured as 1year parts 90 days labor. Please be advised in early April of 2016 we were contacted by [redacted] of [redacted] stating he was installing wireless sound system in the facility and wanted to split the internet signal into 3 different internet addresses. I advised him against it as the system we designed was installed for the purpose of boosting the wifi signal thru out the facility supporting only internet connectivity from one address not three. He was told we would not do it and advised him against it. We were then called again by Mr [redacted] 3 days later and he was talking to someone else at the same time at the site discussing wires they had disconnected and trying to find their location he was also trying to solve the router issue because when he went ahead and split the router into 3 different addresses he lost internet connectivity all together. I told him sir that is exactly why I advised against it. Last Friday [redacted] did call me and I informed her of my conversation with [redacted] and she began to raise her voice and demanded that I fix his problem so yes I did terminate the conversation as I did not deserve to be yelled at and Mr [redacted] should be the one fullfilling their demands. In closing I am sending a copy of the invoice between [redacted] and us to show what they purchased of which [redacted] was walked thru with and showed each location which also showed proof of delivery and installation. As far as not honoring the warranty the warranty for labor ended 3/04/2016, the manufacturer warranty can be either handled by them thru Net Gear or any authorized Net Gear dealer. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Bill D[redacted] is not accurate in his response.  We had to hire [redacted] to discover why American Satellite's installed service was not working.  Please see attached invoice from [redacted], that we expect American Satellite to pay for.  Also, attached is the summary and photos of Mr. [redacted]'s findings after inspecting American Satellite's work performed.The (6) repeaters (which I incorrectly referred to as a router) that American Satellite said they installed is incorrect.  American Satellite installed only (5) repeaters, as seen in the attached photos, not the (6) he invoiced and collected on. Hence, why we are asking for the $641. 84 reimbursement.  Not only did we get shorted (1) repeater, but he installed the wrong ones.  His invoice states (6) netgear wac 730 repeaters, photo #2 shows that 720's were actually installed.  Not only did we get lesser strength, the 720 repeaters are much less in price approximately $289.00 each, yet he charged us $599.85 each for 730 repeaters.  This is a perfect example of American Satellite taking advantage of our inexperience and understanding of technology and gauging us on price!Bill D[redacted] and American Satellite purposely ignored numerous phone calls and emails sent by myself and [redacted] requesting service for labor, etc. while under the 90 day warranty.  How convenient for Bill D[redacted] to say the warranty is now expired!Bill D[redacted] needs to provide us explanation as to why he did not install what we paid for AND reimburse us for:The missing netgear unit - $641.84The difference between (5) net gear 730's and 720's $$$$The $1,296.48 paid to [redacted] due to American Satellite NOT responding and servicing us as a client.

Maam I read the response and I must say wow what a dishonest world we live in. I myself did this work so I remember it well. [redacted] from [redacted] contacted me and asked me about this site to start with, he drove me there and actually introduced me to [redacted] and [redacted].  Mr [redacted] explained that he knew these people very well and yes at the time of introduction it did appear to be that way they all said hi first name basis and even hugs exchanged, he then told them he did av as they well new but did not do networking or wifi and thats when he introduced me.   We sent them a estimate itemized at that they gave us down payment and we preformed the installation. We showed [redacted] every piece of equipment box by box which clearly shows model numbers we did this upon arrival on installation day. We then began process of installation we installed 5 of the 730's thru out the main building and we put the 6th 730 over in the pro shop next door per [redacted]s request as she stated she needed wifi over there as well. Upon completion of the installation of the equipment we did 2 different walk thrus 1 with [redacted] and 1 with [redacted] starting showing them where their ISP installed their equipment then showed both ladies the wire ran from there to the switch we installed and then walked them to each location where we installed the repeaters so they could physically see them in case they may need rebooted. [redacted] actually unlocked the pro shop as it was closed for the winter and we followed her carrying the last 730 in its box and she showed us where she wanted which was behind the counter by the floor. [redacted] walked with me as well 730 per 730 we confirmed wifi operation thru out the main building and over in the pro shop where she locked the pro shop back up herself.  I find it strange at best to discover since I responded to the original complaint that [redacted] and Mr [redacted] have all of the sudden discovered the equipment has changed and I have shorted them equipment. Maam I showed [redacted] and [redacted] all the equipment and they seen it with their own eyes I walked out empty handed. I did return a few days later on crutches (due to surgery) to collect a check for payment since their credit card was being declined. I left that day empty handed as well with a folded check in my pocket.  As far as them paying [redacted] any monies that is between them I without a doubt instructed [redacted] NOT to use his equipment on the wifi system we installed as the site did not have enough bandwidth to support what he was wanting to do. And the site was very clear to me they did not want to pay their ISP anymore money for internet service as the bill was already to high.  I hope this explains my side, as I said I actually showed them both the equipment at every location they seen it with their own eyes.
