Hi ***, This is Guillermo, Co-owner of American Security Locksmith, LLC., I'am the one who went to cut the key for ***"s car, *** *** ***The first time when he called me out said he had a broken Remote head Key for his *** *** *** and wanted me to cut a
brand new keyI told him I did not have that Remote Head Key on stock but I had a Regular transponder key without the remote If you want me I can come out to duplicate his broken key into the regular transponder key and do the programming, We usually charge $( for a regular transponder key, not Remote Head Key ) but, because he had the broken key, I going to charge you $He said that was Ok, I went out & duplicate the key but when I was trying to program the key, I did not have communication from my programming device and the ECU via OBD IISo I collect the $from *** I told him to take the car to fix and call me back, we usually charge the service call fee again which is $55.00, but I can come back just to take care of you and then if you want, I can order the Remote Head Key and you pay me the price for the RH Key onlyHe called me back and set up an appointment for Tuesday 01/10/I went out, when I showed up I asked him if he still wanted the Remote Head Key or want me to program the regular transponder key I cut for him the first time, he said he wanted the Remote Head Key so I told him he had to pay for the remote head key by itself $and not the programmingHe said he did not have such of money and wanted me to program the regular transponder key I sold him the fist time, I said that"s fine, in that case I won't charge you anythingI hook up different programming devices( I use them all the time ) none of them were able to communicate with the ECU ( car's computer ) to program the key, the PIN we use to get access did not work, I called tech support and after explain them what was happening they said the PIN to access to the ECU was changedSo I communicated that to ***, he ask me if there was a way to get the money he paid me back, I said the only amount you can have back is for the regular transponder key $ This is the reason: Service call fee $( I did trips ), labor $ p/hr but I charge him $only, transponder key $
