The American Seed Company has responded to me and the problem has been resolved.  I received the package of alfalfa seeds and grass seeds yesterday June 11.  I assume the seeds are vital and will sprout.  Thank you for your assistance.

Review: I placed a seed order with the American Seed Co. on April 22, 2014. When I spoke with [redacted] taking my order, I told her that I was purchasing the seeds for the purpose of sprouting them for eating. I purchased ten one pound packages of seeds which totaled $ 150.61 which included shipping. The number associated with this transaction is # [redacted]. The package arrived on April 26.Within days I was soaking seeds in jars filled with water. After several hours the water was dumped out and the seeds remained in the jars. I rinsed the seeds several times a day and waited for germination. I took digital photographs of the seeds in the jars to monitor the process and progress. Four vegetable seeds germinated well producing edible sprouts. However six of the vegetable seeds did not germinate well. The seed package inserts state that 85% of the seeds will germinate. American Seed states that they will guarantee the quality of their product. They would return the purchase price of the seeds if they don't meet expectations. American Seed agreed to credit me for the purchase price of six pounds of seeds upon the return of the seeds to them. They sent a [redacted] label to pick up the seeds. The seeds arrived back at American Seed on May 23. I had a conversation and agreement with [redacted] of American Seed on May 16 who sent for the [redacted] pick up label, that once the seeds arrive back that he would credit my account and use some of that credit to send me two pounds of alfalfa seeds (same variety as in the first order) and two pounds of drought resistant wear tolerant perennial grass seed.As of May 23, American Seed had received six pounds of vegetable seed and had instructions to use the credit to send me alfalfa seed and grass seed. It is now June 9 and I am waiting to receive the credit due me less the cost of alfalfa and grass seed including shipping. I've asked them to keep me informed by telephone or by email regarding the status of this matter. My most recent telephone conversation with them was on Friday June 6. They have failed to communicate with me via email or by telephone.On June 6 I spoke with [redacted] of American Seed. He was aware of the details of this matter and said that [redacted] was handling this. I asked that [redacted] contact me before Monday, June 9, to tell me the action he has taken to resolve this matter. I made it clear to him that if I don't receive notification by Monday June 9, that I was going to file a complaint with you.Please assist me with this matter. I am expecting a credit of $ 104.65 for the return of six pounds of seed less the cost of two pounds of alfalfa seed and two pound of grass seed including shipping.Desired Settlement: See a more detailed description above in the complaint description.Please assist me with this matter.
