American Service Center

Review: I purchased a 2010 [redacted] from The American Service Center (Mercedes Benz) on July 5th, 2013 with extended warranty until 2019 and three service warranties so that I would not incur unexpected expenses. Within 90 days the passenger seat was off track. I took the car back to the American Services Center and was told the seat was not covered under the warranty, however the American Service Center made the repair at no cost to me, however the receipt states that all repairs made by the American Service Center have a year warranty. No one will explain what my warranty DOES cover. On September 20, 2014 the same seat is off track again. I was once again told that it is not covered under the warranty that I purchased and that the cost was $738.00. I explained that I did not have the money for the repair which is why I purchased the warranty and that it should at least be covered by the last repair. I was told by the service manager Mr. Al M[redacted] that it was a different part of the seat this time and that they could go in half with me. If this is a different part of the seat then it appears that there is some defect with the seat and I should not be out of any money, period. I pleaded with Mr. M[redacted] to cover the repair as cannot afford to pay anything (hence purchasing the warranty to have the cost included in my car note). I am not able to enjoy my car at this time because I cannot afford to pay additional cost. This is causing me a hardship as I cannot afford unexpected expenses.

I believe that the American Service Center is being dishonest in its dealing with me as a customer. I feel that they should honor the warranty that was purchase and also clearly explain to me what is covered under purchased warranty. You would expect this from a third party warranty purchase, not from the dealer.Desired Settlement: I like to be treated with dignity and respect and for American Service Center to be honest and upfront when selling warranties. I would like American Service Center to admit that if the same seat a different problem then there is a defect in the seat and not the buyer. I should be able to enjoy my car that cost me $675 a month and American Service Center should honor their warranties and show loyalty to all customers but especially returning customers.
