American Showcase Modulars Reviews (2)

American showcase Modulars and everyone that works there are sneaky.evil and trifling.if you have a disagreement with anyone there they will act out by sending you a copyof contract you signed but not trying to repair or do anything more. You see the mess they left in my yard the after the cleanup the first time. They left it when I was at work and yes I did asked if they can do something little more presentable but now the foolish contractor said I never mentioned it and he know I did so called him out to be a liar because my other half brought it to him too. They are not worth servicing people of the public. I did all the calling and follow ups and they still not doing what they supposed to after 10 month come and seal the cracks. I will never refer anyone to them between Gary. Charles and contractor none of them are any good. I will be writing Revdex.com.

Review: Had this company build me a modular home. Have had countless problems with house. It has never been properly repaired since I moved in. They've came out a bunch of times and every time they say the problem is fixed and it comes back. Just today my porch rail broke, before that the floor in my house shakes really bad and continues to do so. Hardly any of the doors shut like they're supposed to. These are my main complaints.Desired Settlement: I would like all of these problems that should've never even happened in a new home fixed and fixed right this time.

Response:

Please see the attachment, it contain American Showcase Modulars response to a complaint by [redacted].

I have included the letter that the [redacted]'s wrote American Showcase Modulars when they took ownership of there home.

Also attached is the service work orders that the manufacture completed and was sign by Mr. [redacted] each time.

I have written a work order to the manufacture on the items he is complaining about at this time, just to see if the manufacture will acknowledge his complaint.

Please note he has been out of warranty over 2 years

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The porch rails were not installed properly from day one thank you very much. My new house shouldn't bounce when a 30 pound dog walks across the floor. The tiles in the kitchen have raised up. All sinks have leaked and in the house also. I had a shingle blow off during my warranty period and was told by American showcase to call my homeowners insurance. The doors in my house haven't shut right since day one so where's the need for homeowne maintanence on that? I was asked to leave a positive review by American showcase and all of these problems didn't exist at the time of writing.

Regards,

Business

Response:

Having been in operation just under 4 years, and having sold over 100 homes, American Showcase Modulars has never had a Revdex.com complaint.Mr. [redacted] purchased his home Nov. 30, 2012. Approximately 3 1/2 years ago. During his warranty period, service was performed on different occasions, We have contacted the manufacturer of his home for their records of last service . Please find attached the last 2 service records that were performed. Note that both (dated , 3/19/14 & 4/11/14) were signed off as satisfactory by the [redacted]s and that even though the warranty expired in Dec 2013, the manufacturer still performed service months after warranty expiration and then closed the file.Since these work orders were completed and signed off in April of 2014, neither the manufacture or American Showcase Modulars have been contacted by the [redacted]s (a period of almost 2 years).Attached you will also find a letter the [redacted]s furnished to American Showcase Modulars after taking possession of the home in Nov. of 2012, it reads as follows: "It was a pleasure working with everyone at ASM. [redacted] was able to answer every question I had. Thanks for doing such a great job on my home. The [redacted]'s".Why the [redacted]s after living in their home for almost 3 1/2 years, and not contacting the manufacturer or American Showcase Modulars for the last 2 years (4/11/14) would write this complaint is confusing to say the least. We are attaching a service request (see attached) to the manufacturer as an attempt to assist the [redacted]s (even with the warranty having expired over 2 years ago) just like we would have done if the[redacted]s had given us the opportunity.Porch rails do not just break (even after 3 1/2 years) without being leveraged. Doors require periodic adjustment (worn hinges, loose screws, etc). There does come a time for Home Owner Maintenance.
