On or about 5 weeks ago I requested an appointment for a new frameless shower door to be measured and installed from American Shower Glass in Tampa, a person arrived late on the day of the appointment for starters, then she started to perform the measurements of a simple shower installation I had to keep on telling her that her process she was performing was wrong, she never measured the area for the raised tiles and never measured for the recessed area of the raised tiles, but as a professional from a glass company she mentioned she been in this buisness for many years and stay out of my job buisness, which I complied after she left upon completion of the measurements it took about a week for the glass to arrive at their store and another week for the installation which was agreeable. Upon installation, it was going very well until I saw that the right, the raised tile cut-out notches were mis-measured instead of 1/2 inch cut-out it was 1 inch cut-out, I mentioned to the installer and he said he would relay that to the owner, so they proceeded installing the glass, door went fairly well until they installed the left panel, which was cut too high and the raised toile cut-out notches again were mis-measured, instead of 1/2 inch cut-out it was 1 inch cut-out and both sides for the recessed area was 1/2 away from the tiles, I mentioned this to them and again they would relay this back to the owner, they had to replace the left panel 3 times and still the right and left side panels are not right, I contacted the owner about the problems and have someone come out to inspect the project being performed he said we don't inspect jobs and that they accept the word of the installer of completion, I was never satisfied with installation process and not happy with the installation process and not happy with their communications and not happy with not inspecting of their projects upon completion, and they never asked for a feed back about the completion of the job, poor professionalism of a company.

Replacement Have a professional measurement person come back out and measure the doors and panel properly and replace the left and right glass panels correctly, or refund at the most 1/3 of the payment rendered upon completion.
The business has responded to my complaint, they had 2 representatives respond to my address and inspected the completion of the job they preformed. I indicated those areas of most concerned, but their expressions of concern of the job was very disturbing. They listened to my concerns but never took notes and never took pictures they made a cell phone call to their boss and showed him live one area only but not the others of concern. They mentioned to me that they would relay this information back to their boss, and he will give me a call. About 2 hours later he called and we tried to work out something where he could make the (mis-measurements, installation process was mis-drilled) and also the notches for the raised tiles, he mentioned that they would have to redo the whole process all over again and this would not benefit his company, meaning they would not make a profit of this job, but no concern for the customer satisfaction. Instead of making this job completion correct, he offered to refund $500.00 from the original amount, I had to turn around and hire another glass company to completely redo the entire job all over again, which cost for the removal and reinstallation properly of the new glass shower door was $1900.00 with a loss 0f $1200.00 from American Shower Glass and the addition of the $1900.00 which came to $2100.00. This is very not acceptable but I had agree to the refund and pay for another company to complete the job correctly, I will (NOT) recommend this company to anyone else or recommend this company for any residential projects. They were also reluctant and not happy that the homer owner watches over them while they preformed the installation, this way the home owner doesn't see the bad stuff they do while installation, this company doesn't know how to perform measurements properly, or perform installation process either, they also perform improper cuts in the glass. When you ask for and inspector to perform an audit on the job giving the customer an avenue of complaints to get things done correctly, they pass it off saying we never inspect jobs on completion.

Overall - NOT HAPPY
But I have accepted the refund just to get rid of them out of my house. Because they would not make the project correct. Had to hire another company.
