American Specialty's response is just another run around tactic used by them.They have not tried to contact us other than by sending an explanation of benefits stating they have not received from us a member verification form agreement from the fitness place where my husband is going.We have sent them everything they have asked for and they still come up with something else they need.This company is totally frustrating to us.Thank you for all your help in solving this problem but I think it is hopeless

submitted the complaint and did not include the name of her husband.  Her name is common so we’ve unable to locate the person she’s referencing.  Does the Revdex.com find it acceptable for us to reach out to the complainant to get that information? I haven’t encountered this before and just want to make sure we are following procedures.

We have not been able to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint because we are unable to identify the member in question.  She states in her complaint that her husband is the person whom has the complaint but does not provide us enough identifying information to determine the name of her husband.  If she could provide this information, we can assist in resolving the issue to  her satisfaction.  Without this information, we are unable to assist any further.

Review: This has to deal with a reimbursement of $150.00 for gym membership my husband has belonged to for years.This is the silver and fit program with Excellus blue cross blue shield.After numerous phone calls with customer service and a supervisor my husband has yet to receive reimbursement owed to him.I have sent them all I have such as receipts,documentation from the gym with no result.They keep saying we do not have valid proof of payment.I don't know what else to do.This has been going on forever and is unacceptable business practice.Excellus has even worked on it with no results.Desired Settlement: Refund for what is owed to him.
