We are in receipt of Mr. [redacted]'s complaint regarding the warranty refund on his 2014 Ford Fusion purchased from our dealership. After reviewing the path Mr. [redacted]'s request took through our business, I found the issue where he feels the ball may have been dropped. One of our administrative...

assistants was out for holiday break and this delayed our prompt response to him, but we have resolved it. The check was cut and issued today for $2,587.00 to [redacted] on check#[redacted] and will go out today in certified mail. We believe after reviewing the comments that Mr. [redacted] is aware the the lien holder ([redacted]) is to receive the proceeds from the refund directly, as we are prohibited to pay the customer directly for the cancellation. His comments about his future intent to refinance the vehicle through another lender in 2018 has no bearing on what our required course of action should be today. Once processed by [redacted], the check we are sending should be reflected in the payoff of that loan and/or issued back to the new lien holder, but since we are not a party to the "refinancing" activity, we have no control over how any of that is administered or its repercussions. We trust these actions, while delayed and not as prompt as Mr. [redacted] was demanding, will satisfy the basic expectations of what he's expecting from our business. Thank you.
