Transmission. Was told it wasn't completed yet, repairs though Bales Automotive.

Mike G showed up at American Transmission, wanting a repair order and cost for [redacted] Repair.
5/3/16 1st trip to Springfield
[redacted] called, said having a problem with shifting pattern on the 09 Chevrolet. [redacted] drove truck to Springfield to be checked out. The Builder needed to keep the truck for testing. [redacted] G couldn't leave it that day he had no other transportation.
5/4/16 2nd trip to Springfield
Returned 8:00 AM was taken to [redacted] to get a rental. Customer was called later that day the (Transmission Control Module) failed and needed to be replaced to repair the problem. Charge $873.80. Waited to hear from [redacted] for approval.

[redacted] called and o.k. repairs, shop install the new Transmission Control Module.
5/6/16 3rd trip to Springfield
[redacted] picked up his 2009 Chevrolet drove around with the builder, everything tested good with customer.

[redacted] called and thanked [redacted] for the ride to the rental car office, everything was fine with the truck going on a drive that day. Called back later, truck acting up. He had to bring the truck in for testing, he requested a car to drive. Told him I'd have to get approval first would call him right back. Returned the call several times and no answer, left message told him the car was ready, no reply.

They are not telling the whole truth, which I didn't expect to, and some of what they said is not true at all. This is what happened to me and my truck/transmission from the 25th April to 10th May.
On 25 April 2016 I took my truck to [redacted] Service in Waynesville Mo. for Transmission work, talk to [redacted] about the type of transmission, the problem, and price , he said they could pull it ,rebuilt it, and have it back in by the 29th that Friday. I gave him my keys and ask him for a ticket or a tag for my truck, he stated we don't do that here, we trust a man on his word. The 26 April I go to Bales check on truck, I was told my transmission was taken to Springfield, American Transmission Shop (A.T.S.), I ask why? I was told ** don't do rebuilt here. Later that day I received a call from [redacted] saying he was going to have to charge me more because it was a six speed, he was told this Monday when I drop it off (now I see why he didn't want to make out the ticket, he can jack up the price without a record, from $1600.00 to $1938.47 On the 28 April I call A.T. talk to [redacted] than I rented a car and drove to A.T. shop in Springfield Mo. [redacted] the Mechanic gave me a copy of the work order on my transmission. On 29 April 4-5 pm [redacted] call me said I could pick up my truck, I go [redacted] pay $1938.47 to get my keys, start my truck , put it in gear , nothing happens ,it doesn't move . I go back inside and tell [redacted] he come out and see the trans mission will not engage he tell me to give it gas when it jump in gear it hit so hard the truck almost hit [redacted] At that point [redacted] tells me I need to talk to the peoples that did the rebuilt at A.T. S. Monday 2 May drove truck to A.T.S. ( very rough and tense drive) [redacted] the Mechanic hook up to my truck computer ,punch in a few keys off his machine till my truck wouldn't move at all, he was lost. He unplugged his machine and got out, walk away. I walk around got in the driver seat started up my truck put it in gear and it moved, I blew the horn, he came out and ask me what did I do, I told him nothing ,his machine was stopping the truck from going into gear. He told me to drive it for a couple of days and see how it runs. Wednesday4 May 2016 drive back to A.T.S. had to rent another car ([redacted] drove me to [redacted] to leave my truck over night, got a call the next day for another charge increase $873.80 , say my computer in my transmission need to be replace. After this $1600.00 job has cost me $3269.83 I ask [redacted] the manger at A.T.S. will this fix my transmission and would everything about my transmission be cover under their warranty, he said YES, I said fix it. On May 6 drove the rental car to A.T.S. to pick up my truck, Enterprise took me back to A.T.S. MY TRUCK STILL NOT SHIFTING RIGHT, they put the wrong fluid in my transmission, which ** talk about. [redacted] tells me again to drive it a couple of days to see if the computer will learn since they supposedly switch it out. 9 May 16 at 10:49am call A.T.S. talk to [redacted] thank her for giving me a ride to the rental and ask her what did she mean by their warranty didn't cover my engine, she said it don't it just cover the transmission I need to get an extended warranty for the truck .During a earlier phone call conversion just out of the blue [redacted] made this remark: The warranty doesn't cover the engine: I said what do my engine has to do with anything, there's nothing wrong with my engine. This made me think if I keep taking my truck back to these two shops there might sooner or later be something wrong with my engine. On the same day about3:45pm I call back to A.T.S. talk to [redacted] again letting her know that the truck was still not right ,she said talk to Mike the mechanic . I expanded to mike what was going on; it was hesitating and rolling backward at a stoplight or sign, he said bring it back down well take another look at it. I said you guys need to get me a loner or something I've paid over $300.00 already on car rental. He said hang on, he thought he had put me on hold but the line was still active. All of a sudden his attitude kicks in, the rage and profanity from me asking for a loner, and then call me stupid from rolling back at the stop light, [redacted] ask him if he put the phone, and she said hello I answer and said no he didn't put the phone on hole and I heard everything he said. She apologize for what Mike said and I told her , you guys need to figure out what you are going to do and I'll talk to you latter, at that point I was upset ,been rip off been played and call stupid,I hung up. 4:00pm and 4:01pm A.T.S. call, both calls no massage. 10 May 10:39am [redacted] call from A.T.S. said [redacted] will be in and just a little bit and she would have him give me a call on when he will have me a rental car ready. That was the last call I got from A.T.S.

We offered Mr [redacted] use of a loaner vehicle if he would bring his truck back to us and let us fix the transmission issue. We will still honor this offer.
