Rudeness of the general manager in resolving service and repair issues Lack of attention to provide information regarding service/repair I phoned store on Friday of last week about a need for service/repair Was told to bring it in at any time I dropped the Polaris Ranger off at the [redacted] location on Monday morning, June 19th Service manager (***) said they would check it out and call me back On Wednesday afternoon I spoke to [redacted] and he said that they had not had time to check it out yet, but would look at it late that afternoon and call me back I told him it was very important that I have my Polaris back by Friday afternoon because I needed it for work on my farm this weekend I did not here back on Thursday, so I called [redacted] this morning (Friday) I asked the status of the work He "checked" and said they had still not had time to look into it(This was the 5th day that they had my Polaris.) Absolutely the worst! I was on the road and needed some help and their service dept was nasty, ignorant and unhelpful Eventually got great service from a dealership in Gadsden Stay away Here what was written up in the Goldwing newsletter in Colorado: "On Monday, I contacted Hall's Motorsports in Pelham, ALAt first, their service person was away and would call me back in minutesAfter minutes I called them back and talked with a service person who seemed perturbed that I had bothered to recall himAt first, when I told him I needed a rear tire for an Goldwing, he seemed confused and asked me who made "that bike." When I told him it was a Honda, he again seemed confused and asked the dimension of the tire I neededThom quickly looked it up and I gave him the informationHe then indicated he'd look to see if they had one in stockAfter minutes on hold, the phone went deadI called back and finally got through to him againYes, they had one in stockWhen I asked whether it was a Bridgestone or a Dunlop, I was told "I don't know." So next I asked if he could get to it today and was told "I'm not sure." So, I indicated that it made no sense for me to drive miles on a tenuous rear tire to their shop unless I knew whether they could get to it that dayHe became irate and told me that "in that case all I can promise you is that I can get to it sometime this week" and then hung up on meThom and I traded incredulous looks and determined to spend the day (as originally planned at the museum) and find a different shop the next day."
