This is the most horrible place for anyone to look for a truck We bought a $25,truck and two days later had to put it in the shop for repairsThey reused to pay even half of the $repair bill

I purchased a ffrom this dealership about months ago(I'm having my first child and needed to get rid of my older play truck that had lots of upgrades and wasn't all that dependable for everyday carrying around my child.)Before I bought it I went in to check it out and let them look at my trade in a week before I came back to sign papers on itI drove a couple trucks and decided on this oneI looked it over and saw that the check engine light was on and there was some build up underneath the truck from oil or coolant but wasnt substantial so I asked them to get both things looked at and fixedThe salesman kelly said that they would get it token care of and that they would take it to the shop that dayI was informed that when I came later to purchase the truck it would be fixedI called them later that week and kelly told me the check engine light was caused by a sensor and that it had been fixed, also that the leak had been fixedSo I came in that Saturday to buy the truckWhen I got there they where detailing it on the side of the the building (washing it with a water hose and brush they barely wiped down the inside)I noticed that one of the taillights was busted out and that wasn't any rubber on the brake and gas pedals I asked if they could replace both of these thingThey said they didn't have one and to just take the tailight and rubber off of the truck I was trading in (it's was a fso it has the same light and pedals)They didn't come out and change it so I grabbed my tool kit and swapped them myselfOnce I got in the truck to check out the inside I noticed that the check engine light was still on.I asked kelly if they had fixed the truck and he said yes that it would take a little driving for the light to go offI had bought a extended warranty with the truck so I figured worst case scenario if it didn't go off I would use my warranty no problemI was kind of in a rush to get out of there bc I had my wife that was months pregnant at the time with me and uncomfortable in the summer heatAll the papers were signed and I went to to leave and noticed that there was no diesel in the truck, so I asked kelly if they could fill the truck upHe said there was no one available to take it to get fuel so could he just give me some cash out of the $2,I had just put downI said sure and he handed me a $billI laughed ($of diesel in an fis barealy enough for a quarter of a tank) and hopped in the truck and got out of thereWell the check engine light did not go off and me being me and being very busy with work and getting ready for my daughter to be born I kinda ignored it until I took it into the ford dealership for an oil change and fuel filter changeI thought while I have them doing that I should see why the check engine light is still on and if they can use the warranty to get it fixedWell ford tells me that it is the trans oil cooler leaking and that it has failed and the warranty doesn't cover itI then called the warranty company and asked why it wasn't covered and it was one I out four things that aren't covered by the warranty (just my luck)The warranty company also informed that if it wasn't fixed it would void my warrantySo I figured I would call the dealership and see if they could help me out seeing that the check engine light had never gone off and it was probably the same thing that they had claimed to of fixed(Ford told me that the trans cooler was leaking coolant under the truck and that it had failed which was the cause of the check engine light and the build up I had seen when looking the truck over)I called Kelly and he talked to his boss and told me to bring the truck in so they could take care of itThey had the truck for days before calling and telling me that ford had pretty much lied to me and that there was no code for the trans cooler and it was some other sensors that had went out after I had drove the truck off the lotI talked to Kelly multiple times throughout the week and he kept telling me that he would try and get them to take care of itAfter or so conversations on the phone he told me that they weren't responsible for any of it and that they would take it to ford and try and get the sensors fixed under my warranty and if it wasn't covered it was on me to pay for itI asked if they were coved under my warranty and he said he didn't know (this is the warranty they sold me by the way but seem to have no idea what's covered)I asked him what sensors were out on multiple phone calls and he could never tell me (bc there was no sensors out it was the problem that they said that had fixed)I asked who there mechanics are and what shop they work out of and he told me that they just work for them and they don't really have a shop(So do I take the word of some unknown mechanics or the word of a huge ford dealership in a big city that had no reason to lie)Kelly called me later the same day and told me that the ford dealership wouldn't be able to get to my truck for maybe 3-days (not the same ford dealership as I had been to)Not only was it bad enough that he was telling me all this bad news he was texting it to me instead of calling me and talking on the phone (not very professional if you ask me)I called him back and tried to talk it out with him he got his manager on the phone and the first thing he said when he got on the phone was YOU NEED TO COME PICK UP YOUR TRUCKHe informed me that they were not going to cover anything and that all these problems happened after it left there possessionHe told me to cancel my warranty and use the savings to fix my truck (like if I canceled it they would hand me the $4,I paid them for it that was included in my loan)These people don't want to take any responsibility for there trucks they just want to get them in and out as fast as possible and get them off there handsIf your going to buy a truck from here do your homework on it or take it somewhere to get looked up in down I guessNow I'm having to spend $1,I don't have on a month old truck

I drove hours to test drive a truck that was supposed to be in excellent condition, and was previously owned by an older gentleman When I drove the truck, the AC was blowing cold on one side, but not the other I informed the salesman, Austin, of the problem, and he told me "his shop has checked it and everything is fine." After an hour into my drive back home the AC compressor went out, as I previously mentioned to Austin I had to make the trip back to American Truck Source so that their mechanics could check it out once more After that finally got resolved, a week later the transmission started acting up Austin was very difficult to deal with They are basically only cleaning vehicles to sell back to the public I don't believe any maintenance was performed I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, unless you have a mechanic with you to check the vehicle out for you

I purchased a vehicle from this place site unseen and had it deliveredTurned out to be a great experience even though I was nervous about it

In 2013, I bought a Jeep Wrangler Sahara from American Truck SourceThere business claim is that they provide quality used vehicles to anyone, anywhere in the countryThey also claim that these vehicles are capable of being driven anywhere from their dealershipThis was not the case for my JeepFrom the first moment we pulled out of the lot, the left turn signal immediately malfunctioned and was inoperableI later found out from my mechanic that this was due to a bad wire setup for the towing light wire harnessSeems like a little problem, but it gets worseThe oil gauge was faulty, the transmission began to slip, all the spark plugs were burnt, the spark plug cables were falling apart, the transfer case was cracked, the front left tire had an irreparable gash that caused it to deflate slowly, the shocks were already bad (one broke off from driving on the highway), and two of the rims had worn lug nuts or key lock nuts without a key to unlock themThousands of dollars, and hours of my own hard labor later, I have finally gotten my jeep running like it should beThis was a serious pain because I am in the Air Force, stationed in ColoradoThe dealer was no help in handling the repairs of my jeepThey were quick to say that in the three months I owned it, I took it offroading in the winter and caused all of the damageThey wanted no part in repairing there faulty saleThis came as a surprise because, at the point of sale, they told me that I could rely on them to help with whatever problems I had with the jeepThey also said that their mechanic assured the Jeeps qualityAgain, this surprises me because of all the obvious mechanical issues that should have been raised during the saleI was a first time car buyer with no experience, so I have learned my lessonHopefully, not all used car dealerships are crooked like this one, and no one else will make the mistake of trusting these "professionals" like I did

Had a great experience with purchasing a work truck from here.

This is the most horrible place for anyone to look for a truck. We bought a $25,000 truck and two days later had to put it in the shop for repairs. They reused to pay even half of the $2000 repair bill.
