I am reviewing this situation however I never talked with this person nor his wife. The unit appears to have been installed incorrectly which caused the lamp to short out. The connector from the ballast to the lamp was not seated properly upon installation and when the electricity was...
applied, it shorted out the connection which in turn shorted out the lamp.We have the unit here and I personally looked at it and it was improperly installed. However, we never want an unhappy customer so if we have been paid and they haven't issued a complaint to the credit card company, we will issue a refund. I will have to look into this as well. I believe we will have to issue the refund to their credit card but if not we will cut a check to them. Please let me know if there are any other questions. regards;Meredith C.S[redacted]President
