Dear Sir or Madame,Our office is in receipt of complaint #[redacted] from Ms.
Esther ** T[redacted] regarding an incident reported on Saturday November 7, 2015 at
the address of [redacted]. Ms. T[redacted]
reported a crack in her front windshield on the upper portion of the...

driver’s
side window. Upon receipt of Ms. T[redacted]’s claim form out office immediately began
an investigation that included speaking with the manager on duty and an
inspection of the area where the vehicle was parked to determine if any
obstructions such as trees, overhangs etc. that could have potentially caused
the damage. Upon completion of the analysis there were no obstructions that
could support the claim of damage while her vehicle was in the possession of
our staff. In addition, due to the location of the damage at the top of the
vehicle our employees would not have made contact in any way that could have
caused this. The only contact made to a car while in our possession to place a
paper tented card on the top of the dashboard that has a valet ticket number to
identify the vehicle. Keys are used to park and lock all vehicles then taken
immediately to the valet key podium and secured until the guest departs the
location. American Valet has been in business for over 35 years and our
employees all receive training both in a classroom and on the job before they
are authorized to park or retrieve customer vehicles. It is our response there
is no way a valet could have caused damage to the area of the vehicle
windshield that has been reported. Communication via a letter was sent to Ms.
T[redacted] on 11/9/15 by our office notifying her of our conclusion to the
investigation.WE are disheartened about the damage to Ms. T[redacted]'s vehicle however based on the information noted above do not feel American Valet is liable for these damages due to our negligence. Thank you,Tricia O[redacted]Office Manager
