We apologise for whatever inconvenience the client has faced but we would like to reiterate that cards getting declined, reauthorising them from the bank happens all the time when you do shopping onlineA credit card that the customer uses is not something that we as a company can controlThe rep with our company was only trying to help the client with getting the transaction approved for the service that the client was trying to purchaseAll said and done we have issued a full refund to the client for $300, the refund should reflect within to business days

Dear Customer,As far as your service back in july is concerned we did fix your pc and you were satisfied with the services back then and we have documentation to prove thatWhen you called us this time your service with us had already expired and that is why when you called us with issues in your
PC we had to fix it again and give you our service which is obviously chargeable, don't understand how that is not legitimateAlso, you sent a check to our company through ***(which is also an american company) to an american address which again makes it legitLast but not the least there is no way *** would tell you that we are not legit because we are a corporation using a TOLL FREE number to service our customers in USA which is perfectly a legit way of doing businessIf you are not happy with the service this time then we will go ahead and refund the money to you but the money you paid us back in july last yr, the service contract for that has already expired and can't be refunded

We have thoroughly gone through the complaint and also went through recordings of the conversationAccording to our investigation the rep that answered his phone call catered to all the questions he had with patience and fixed his pcWe also have signed documents from the customer agreeing
that he was satisfied with the serviceMay be its just an afterthought and experience he had with the previous company he dealt with, he probably got confusedAs the customer is not happy we have initiated a refund of full amount(300)We wish him all the best and contact us on *** if he ever needs any help in future

I am rejecting this response because:I sent a check to Computweak on 2/23/17 because after I was told to do so after calling to check to see if this company is legit. Back in July 2016, I paid $300 and then this time they talked me into paying $350 "more" for the "warranty" of my service, which I didn't really understand. Computweak actually had [redacted] come to my house and pick up a check which was sent to your company on Olympic Way in Auburn. I was told back in July that your company is a part of [redacted] security after Computweak crashed my computer saying I had a virus! So I don't know WHO to believe but when I researched your company, there were other complaints saying that you did the same exact thing to other people's computers and it stated that Computweak is a scam. So I want my $350 back and I am having my computer guy look at my computer this week to see what was compromised when you overtook my computer. I think there is a 3rd party involved here and you don't want to be responsible for it. But I DO know I sent the check ($350)  to [redacted] in Auburn, CA on 2/23/17 so I expect to be reimbursed for that. It's all over the internet about your company and others that have been purposely taking over people's computers and stealing information. Don't trust anyone.[redacted]

Dear Customer,We have never contacted you after the cancellation  of your services. We can give you that in writing. We never call customers and sell them anything. And as we said earlier the services provided to you were all documented for. There would be no logical reason to call you when we have agreed to cancel your services on the first request itself. As we have written to you earlier as well you are most probably confusing us with some other company because we can give you that in writing that you would have never got a call from [redacted]. As far as your allegation of we not understanding americans is concerned we have thousands of americans other than you who are happy with our services and they understand us, so do we.

I am rejecting this response because:1.      There were two techs that I spoke with at CompuTweak2.      The first one accepted my phone call and I explained why I was calling. The number that I called Was found in my Cox Web mail from settings and said if I wanted to find out who had complained about me to call their number.  The tech said someone got into my pc and Hacked my pc. So he said after they remove the virus, to remove and change all of my passwords and I agreed to do that plus pay them $300.The tech who removed the virus in my pc, told me do not change your passwords and do not let your local tech get into my pc or change anything. This did not sound legitimate to me as he was working on my pc and finishing. So I closed my pc.3.      I believe the next day I found in my Outlook email the note CompuTweak sent to me looking like from my Cox webmail that I agreed to the service and was totally pleased. Then the second email from my Cox webmail showing my signature authorizing payment which was not my signature, and was told to respond to both emails agreeing to their request.   I did not do that, as I felt like the 2nd tech was using Identity Theft using my email from Cox, which is cyber stalking.  The $300. Charge was then Fraud in my opinion because their phone # was in my Cox email.4.      So how did their phone # get into my Cox webmail?  Was it from Fix My Pc or San Remo Software?  Or does CompuTweak have a business relationship with either one?5.       I removed the CompuTweak program from my Windows Program and startedLooking for their footprints. I called my local tech who was out of town but would come when he came back. [redacted] did come two times removing their footprints and I changed my passwords.6.      A few days later CompuTweak got into my pc and put in his program footprintsWith a lock on it.  It took me 2 days but I figured out their footprints were still inthere.  In my opinion, this is cyber hacking. I had [redacted] come back again to remove footprints. I am awaiting an answer from California Attorney General for the answers toIdentity Theft, Fraud, cyber stalking and cyber hacking.7.      CompuTweak needs to answer the questions above so I will have the answers from The California AGs office, whether they believe this is criminal action or bad businessPractice.I am requesting that Revdex.com of NE California send to their AG office.  If they areNot able to, I will.[redacted]

I did receive another call yesterday from the same person from [redacted]I never heard from the FBI on CompuTweak.
