I was a patient with American Vein & Vascular Institute in Pueblo, ColoradoThey have closed their doors at the North side location where I was a patient
I am a veteran, and given permission by the ** to have my treatment continued by their doctor
After they closed their doors, I returned to the ** treatment clinicMy ** doctor informed me that they did not send in any of my records of test and treatments, so I had to get the records and hand carry them to the **
Then I received a final bill from them, I wasn't suppose to pay anything out of my own pocketI found out from the ** that they hadn't requested the continue care request from them as the American Vein & Vascular was required to for the continue care
I am lucky that I did pay for the *** part b which paid a good share of the billIt could have been thousands if I hadn't of
All these failures by American Vein & Vascular Institute indicates a lack of consideration and respect for their patients

Customer service at the Littleton office near County Line Rd and Broadway is non-existenceOffice manager (Mrs***) needs to be trained and learn how to provide customer service to patients who need their life saving servicesThey act and treat customers like they don't need the business and actually feel like they are doing the patients a favor by taking their money and treat them like second hand citizens especially if they feel the customer belongs to a protected minority groupDo your self a favor and find a different business to go to

When the procedure was set up all of our medical insurance was accepted with absolutely no deductible which is absolutely correct. I let the first threatening letter to send us to a Collection Agenncy go as I will give everyone a second chance. By the way our credit rating is excellent I received another threatening statement on 01/26/2015 to turn us in to a collection agency again. They should not be able to harass people and then say that they made an error and or should have not been sent. We are in our 80's, disabled and just want people not to take advantage of us. It is not acceptable. Of course whe I called they were very sorry
