***,We received your concern/complaint and we are a little taken back We have not lied to you and take that very serious You signed a contract for a new roof last Monday 7/10/ Our sales representative Tim K*** stated our roofing lead times are approximately weeks
Jessica H*** (office manager) called you for your welcome call last Wednseday 7/13/to go over the details of the contract and also discussed lead times At that time you expressed concern about the lead times, but we told you to expect a 3-week lead time because of the amount of rain we received so far this month I'm sorry you feel frustrated We have not even been able to try and execute the contract yet, and are only week removed from the initial sale Your rescission period would have been Thursday 7/14/at midnight, and Jessica contacted you on Wednesday We never heard anything from you in regards to wanting to cancel the contract as stated in your *** posts However, we do not want to upset you or fall short of your expectations that you have concerns about We would certainly void your contract at this point, and since this was a financed job you would simply have to call *** and cancel the loan or transfer it to another company of your choice Although we feel we can certainly live up to the expectations of installing your roof in weeks it may be best ,due to your feelings about American WeatherTechs, LLC, if we cancel the contract all together with an agreement by both parties Would you like us to send you a copy of the contracted back and voided, so you can find a company that you are more comfortable in doing business with? We are not a company that lies to customers or does not fulfill contracts, and we are very sorry those are your feelings. Regards,Corey C***

We have read over the responses from American Weathertechs and we are mostly disheartened at this point at their blatant lies and trying to turn everything around on us, as if we are making up all these accusations just for the money. We are not 100% sure where to go from here, as the response from American Weathertechs was correct in saying that a lot of our allegations against them are a he said/she said issue. Having said that, we do have proof for some of them that they are being dishonest about and can provide text messages we sent to each other regarding late arrivals of installers and them leaving for hours at a time during the installation days. We can also provide reports showing the day that they didn't show up and didn't call was the nicest day of the entire timeframe of our installation. Regardless, a phone call should have happened no matter what the weather. Basically, it was never about the money. Asking for the money was a way to make the company take some ownership for a botched job all the way around. They have given many empty apologies with all kinds of excuses attached. This process seemed to us like the work of a company in it's infancy, not of one that has been serving Ohio for more than years. So, I guess we will just forget about the money because it doesn't sound like they feel we are deserving, but we would love support from the Revdex.com in approaching the media so we can make sure as many people as possible know what they are getting into before deciding to work with this company. We would welcome input and/or a meeting with someone from the Revdex.com to look at what we have and see if that is an option

I read the response from the business and don't agree with their assessment of what happened. They did receive my call,  sent a foreman out to review the issues and confirmed it needed to be rectified. They just never followed thru until this complaint was issued.  Since the complaint, they did send out a gentlemen to fix all of the issues and I am now satisfied.

I have contacted [redacted] in response to the complaint filed against American Weathertechs this morning. We have a service Tech going out to the job site this Thursday to preform a service that we were never aware of. We have no record of any service being called into the office, therefore we...

could not respond to anything. In conversation with homeowner it would appear that the subcontractor may have received the call and never made the office aware of it. We will as in every case complete any and all outstanding concern that our customer may have. I will respond again after completing whatever Mr [redacted] is asking us to do. The only records we have about the job post installation are the completion certificate attached; which states everything is done and complete. We have attached our service log that displays there has never been a service called in to us or outstanding.
