The sales representative of American West Homes Highland Collection Marilyn ** *** handled our transaction in a really unprofessional way and misled us into agreement that we didn't expectFirst of all, she told us that with cash payoff in the transaction will reward us in 3% discount on the purchase price which later turns out only 1.5% on our purchase agreement before we decided to go into the purchase agreement which she denied when we found it one month after we went into agreementSecond, she failed to tell us that we need to pay in full within days after the agreement to receive certain discount and we had to find out about it a month after the contractWe are extremely upset and frustrated about this whole situationAfter all this communication, I have entirely lost my interest in this deal and want to have our earest monies back since this deal was handled unprofessionally that caused us higher cost than we expected
This company was very unprofessional the practices at this company is unethical the preferred lenders that they use are part of the money scam. We put down $3000.00 for earnest that the builder will not return to us on a standing inventory home. The lender mislead us New Home Source [redacted] into believing that we were approved for a loan with there company and had us move our family to the area with expected closing dates set and reset. The misleading led us into loosing out on a refund of our earnest money because they have a clause in paragraph 9 that they like hold over there consumers heads. My husband and myself are disabled veterans and we don't have money to give away to companies that like to take advantage of others. I feel that it is the lenders fault for misleading all of us and I should receive my earnest monies back from this company since her organization caused the deal to go wrong. We want our earnest monies back with an apology for putting our family in a critical situation. The situation is very stressful and has put us in a hardship situation.
Also I would like to mention that they will not return calls because for some reason they feel like they are untouchable. My goal is to have my earnest monies returned I feel like it was fraudulent how they obtained it.
