Review: Me an my significant other went to the American Woman's Services location in [redacted] to get an abortion done on February 26th 2013 as scheduled. Our first visit my significant other was told thats she was 14 weeks an that she would need a surgical procedure done, but because she was far along she would need to be sedated. So we left an had to reschedule an comeback with another 170 dollars. The procedure already cost 395.00 which I used my debit card to pay for. March 1rst 2013 we returned with cash in had for the sedation an abortion process but the was told that we could not go forward with the process because the doctor that was in the office doesn't perform surgical abortions process after the week of 12. So yet again we had to reschedule for another appointment with the office when the actual doctor was there who could perform the procedure which came to be March 5th 2013. We arrived at the office for a 2:30 appointment. The office was closed. a young lady exited the office an proceeded to leave the office but we thought nothing of it. 20 min later we tried the office again an the door was still locked so we proceeded to call the 1-800 number associated with the clinic an we were told by the clinic that they never opened. How could they schedule an appointment on a date that they new they wouldn't be open? Then we were told that, that office no longer does surgical abortions. So we thought that odd. I called the 1-800 number an I spoke to a young lady who would not give me her name an I asked general questions. She wouldn't awner any of my questions as far as business hours an location an she also told me they had no cooperate office an if we paid for the operation an decided to change our minds she did not know when we would get a refund so when I asked her her name an employees ID she said she cant give that information out an hung up the phone on me. I checked your site an noticed that they were believed to be closed. Which could only mean they are peforming illigal abortionDesired Settlement: I would like my 395.00 back in full. An this business shut down an the people jailed for illegal abortions an fraud before someone gets killed during there surgeries.
