Review: I called Americana Park Also known as [redacted]. And spoke to a lady name Jennifer Manager I asked her if they had lots available for rent she replied back and said to me yes we actually have 2 lots available. I was so excited and I asked her ok can I schedule an apointment for today to take a look at them. She said to come in at 2pm this was in early April of 2016. I went with my husband I met Jennifer the Manager and she showed me about 2 lots available she also mention to me that there is a mobile home already set in for 14000 and if I wanted to take a look at it. I told her sure but unfortunately I didnt like the mobile home it was not my taste im not sure if she got mad cause of that because she started acting weird but anyhow I paid no mind. To make a short I paid her a $70 check for background check for my self and husband she said to fill everything out and I asked her is this going to take long she said no tomorrow we should have an answered. I waited the next day and no call I waited following monday still no call whatsoever I called and the Assistant Manager Elizabeth answered me and said that Jennifer was not available anyhow I drove up there 2 days later Jennifer said everything was fine all I need was my deposit and first month rent and I told her very excited are you sure i'm approved because I am going to purchase my mobile home its 3 hours away and my current mobile home will be sold as well she said yes everything looks great I received pictures of mobile home as well. I said OK thank you so much I went to the bank wired transferred 5000 to that company to buy my home. I cant believe thees people 2 days later they turned around and said we cant accept that mobile home I already had spend money purchasing it and getting a building permit as well now i'm homeless with my kids living in a motel they don't want to talk to me I leave voicemail and no answer someone needs to do something about this. I can just imagine who else became a victimDesired Settlement: I would like for them to apologize to me and be more professional and to refund me what I spent at least the $70 check I gave them which they didn't run no background check also the money I spent getting a building permit. Very very bad service I experience I feel so bad I don't know what to do.
