Americana Tickets

Review: I purchased 6 tickets for [redacted] via the phone. I've never had a problem. The last time I contacted American Tickets. I hope the conversation was taped! I purchased first row (towards center) left side seats for 141.00 per ticket plus a fee (usually 2.00 per ticket) and FedEx charge. Everything was fine until the tickets arrived and their face value was $87.00. I could not believe that this was possible. This is SCALPING.If I had any idea that the face value was $87 dollars I never would have purchased these tickets.AT NO TIME WAS IT EVEN SUGGESTED THAT AMERICANA WAS A DIRECT MARKETING COMPANY. They have many years in business and as a consumer I cannot imagine how and why they are allowed to tack on a surcharge that is close to $60.00 per $87.00 charge per ticket.They must be stopped. Every call they pick up MUST advise the consumer that they are a Marketing Company, not a ticket agency and that they are charging SCALPERS FEES.Desired Settlement: I want these RIP OFF Artists to return the extra charge to American Express. I've paid Amex for 6 tickets @ 87.00 per ticket plus a handling fee of $2.00 per ticket, plus the Fed-Ex Charge of $15.00.I also want any visitors to the site or callers to be made aware that they are paying way over the face value for each ticket purchased.
