Occurrences or problems that happened were rectified immediately. The overall end result is beautiful!

Absolutely no problem doing business with America’s Bath!

We couldn’t be more pleased with the salesperson, installation and the final product that we received from America’s Bath Company.

America’s Bath takes care to make sure all issues are resolved to the customers satisfaction. It is impressive that the owner comes out and personal handles issues. We love our shower!

I like the product very much. The installers were friendly, informative and professional. The installers found our drain wasn’t connected properly. Upon repairing, the unexpected surprise was the elimination of an occasional sewage smell and sewer flies in my home.

Everything was top notch. Great customer service and quality. I would recommend this company, they do what they say.

We love the finished product that yield additional space over the fiberglass we previously had. You wouldn’t believe what a difference four inches can make. The company kept us informed of everything to expect and the installers were excellent. We are now planning our second bathroom remodeling project with this company.

I found that America’s Bath was a good company from start to finish. My salesperson was informative, and patiently answered any concerns I had regarding the job. The office personnel were polite and responded to me as quickly as they were able. The installers were very skilled and knowledgeable...they worked their tails off! They did a very good job of cleaning up daily after their day was done. I am very happy I picked America’s Bath Company. My shower is much more multifunctional for my needs, nice to look at and easy to care for.

We had seen this company at a home improvement show and loved the product. We didn’t want grout as we had seen the deterioration from what we had on our existing walls. And since we wanted our 32-year-old walls to be taken down, we knew this was the way to go.
We now have three beautiful solid walls in cultured stone, and we couldn’t be more pleased. What was even more of a surprised was how beautifully they trimmed our new window! Christina, the project manager, was so helpful working with us on our own window replacement project prior to their installation. We never knew it would turn out this way. The installation crew was great. I would love to have them back.
After being with AT&T for over 33 years, I can assess professionalism and care when serving people in their home. These guys even rolled their tarps up, placed them in the van dirty to remove from the premise and shake them out off site. It has been an excellent experience from beginning to end.

Everything went well. It is a beautiful product. The process was painless. The only downside was that this company was in such demand we had to wait longer than expected for our installation. Well worth the wait!

Immediately following the installation I noticed a huge difference in my health due to the mold remediation. I wish I had done this 3 years prior. From the beginning through the end, I knew what to expect and all my expectations were met.

Your company has been very pleasant to work with. From the specific communications with details of product, installation and repair work to the coordination of our other bathroom project which was unaffiliated with your work. All was seamless and helpful. America’s Bath Company was very responsive with any questions we had.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. I always expect things to happen, like glitch, and it did with this installations as well. But what impressed even more, was how they remedied the situation that went way above and beyond what I expected. My shower is beautiful, I just love how it looks. My husband especially enjoys the bench and we feel so much safer with the grab bars. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. They do what they say, they check in to make sure everything is going as they told me and then they follow up afterward to make sure I was satisfied.

I saw you at the home show In Pheasant Run. I had scheduled three companies on the same day. Tom was first. The second guy tried talking me out of what I wanted and within 5 minutes I knew they were not the company for me. The third company was so high pressure. Tom simply asked me to let him know by days end if I was going to proceed as there would be a discount.

So easy to care for, it maintains it's shine! So much better than the cheap acrylic I had. So happy I chose this product, it's beautiful!

In our 63 years of marriage and dealing with contractors, America's Bath Company has been the best and most honest contractor we have ever dealt with. Everything that was told to us happened!

My family and I contracted America's Bath Company to do a tub to shower conversion to accommodate an elderly parent. During the purchase agreement/write-up process, based on our bathroom's color scheme, we selected a color sample, 'cloud, with a yellowish tone. A few days after signing the contract and a $3115 down payment, we received a welcome letter explaining what to expect, a can of cleanser, and the sample onyx stone labeled "cloud" which we had chosen. In August 2018, sub-contractors came out to start the job. That day they removed the tub, surrounding walls, piping, put in green board and put down the floor pan. After they left, we looked at the work and noticed the color of the floor pan was gray and not the color we had selected. I called the company and the salesman and left messages. The next day, when the sub-contractors returned, we showed them the color of the sample. She contacted the company and explained the color issue. The company's operations officer, *** had her to take pictures of not only the sample and the floor pan but also of our bathroom vanity which was not being replaced. After much discussion and phone calls, the company determined that the onyx stone shower would age and warm into the color of our sample. *** emailed us an agreement to that end, including a statement saying that she would personally visit our home in November to verify the aging process and that if that did not occur, the company would replace the shower at no cost to us. She did not come, call or contact us about the aging of the stone. In January 2019, we called the company to address a leak in the shower. When they came, I reminded ***, their technician, of the color issue, showed him our sample to which he agreed, the color was different. In the end we spoke with ***. She would not honor our contract or her email to us in August. She said that the color didn't matter as long as the shower worked.

Sadly, this is our first complaint at the Revdex.com. With that being said, we are happy that the complaint is not related to the work we did or the services we provided in that we fulfilled our contractual obligations in delivering the products on the contract for which the customer paid for, which includes the color the customer selected with our Design Consultant. In addition, with over 1000 projects installed, we have never had a color issue.

In this case, the customer feels the color they received is different than what they selected with our Design Consultant in their home even though all the samples are labeled the same. The color they selected was Cloud (which is grey/white - just like clouds in the sky) and we sent them a sample of Cloud at a later date which the customer is using as their baseline for matching and subsequently feels the shade difference is greater than it should be. We are not the manufacturers of what we offer and considering that this is a made to order product with natural ingredients, there will be dye lot changes from one batch to the next just like any man made product. We brought the issue to the manufacturers (a very large national company) attention at point of install and the manufacturer spoke with customer at the time where the technical side of aging etc. was explained. Our subsequent follow ups with the manufacturer resulted in their determining the color was within their tolerance. We piled up over 20 samples at our offices, along with the original sample the customer selected from and the colors were all very similar and would be considered Cloud. We also sent the customer additional samples of Cloud for her to compare.

From our perspective, our hands were tied. If we reordered Cloud, we have no way of guaranteeing the shade would be what the customer wanted. If it was still not what she wanted, would she keep requesting we reorder until she was happy? This is not a feasible solution and subsequently we were put in a spot of telling the customer we delivered what she paid for because we delivered everything that was on the contract and the manufacturer stated the color of what she received was Cloud.

Ad a result of this complaint, we were now able to get the manufacturer to take a different point of view and is sending one of their representatives to the customer's home. This is in the manufacturers hands and we will wait for direction from them.

Lesson learned for us is to ensure that our customers understand this is a man made product and subsequently there could be a slight variance in color from one sample to the next depending on when the product and the sample were manufactured.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:
The issue remains as originally stated. The color of the shower is not the color that we selected. We were shown several samples which were all similar but we selected a color with a yellowish tone. We were told "in writing that the color of the shower would age to the color of the sample we selected, the sample that we were mailed and have in hand. Please see attached email. We sent them pictures of our color sample compared to the floor pan that had been laid. At the time we alerted them to this problem, America's Bath Co had an opportunity to explain what they are saying now, come out and examine our complaint, inquire whether or not we'd choose to proceed with that color or even to offer to us another choice of color. But America's Bath Co chose to maintain that the shower would age to the color of our sample or they would replace the shower. They chose to move forward with the job instead of taking the time to examine our concerns. Also, America's Bath Co also maintains that they use their own employees/contractors. In our case they did not use their own contractors but, sent subcontractors to our home to do the job. Had they used their own employees/contractors instead of subcontractors, maybe it could have made a difference. It's possible their contractors could have been more perceptive of how the color issue might be resolved before becoming the problem that it is now. Also, a representative from the manufacturer did call us 2 weeks ago to say he was going to set up a date and time to come out to address our concerns but, that has not yet happened.
Sincerely

At America's Bath, we stand by the mistakes we make and fix them and we back that up with a lifetime workmanship warranty. In this case, the customer is wrongly informed and is stating information that is not factual. We sympathize with the customer in that she is not happy with the color she selected, but America's Bath did deliver what was on the contract. As originally stated, we have never had a color issue in over 1000 projects.

With that being said:

1. The customer received the color she selected with the Design Consultant which is the color Cloud. Cloud is clearly written on the contract and subsequently she received such. We have all the documentation shower Cloud was ordered and delivered. We also have the original sample which we have preserved as evidence for this matter. If she felt Cloud had a yellowish tint to it, then perhaps the lighting was off in her bathroom, which is a matter outside of our control. We show many colors and it's ultimately up to the customer to select the color they wish to go with and sign a contract for such. We have over 60 colors available with roughly 20 colors as being the core colors that are most popular.

2. If the project was stopped in the middle, the customer would have been without a shower for 6 weeks while new material was ordered. However, again, do we keep ordering Cloud until it's the shade she wants? Considering that this shower was for a elderly person, that was not a feasible option. If new material was ordered, it would have been at the customers expense.

3. America's Bath has a mix of exclusive installers that include employees and sub-contractors which we refer to as team members. All team members receive the same training and oversight regardless of how they are compensated. Some installation crews prefer to operate as their own business for tax purposes while others prefer to be employees for the same reason. We never state that installers are our own employees. Regardless, the customer received the same installation experience and subsequently the installation crew who did this project did it well and according to our installation procedures. Because there are over 60 colors, the installation crews follow what is on the contract and in this case, as previously stated, Cloud was installed.

4. The email the customer refers to is a summery of a conversation that was with the manufacturer written by our operations manager. The manufacturer stated to us that the variance is within the tolerance they have.

Unless determined by the manufacturer that there was a manufacturing issue and they determine they will replace the product, America's Bath stands by the contract and the color the customer selected and subsequently installed.

America’s Bath Company did an excellent job and it turned out very nice and the base is really non slip which is important, the installation crew was very good and we would recommend them.

We are very please with the whole process and the product, everything was done well, installation crew was very good and clean up was good. They were very thoughtful on the fact my mother in law used that bathroom and got it done quickly.

The installation crew that came out was very nice and respectful, they did a great job. We looked at another company and they had acrylic and it was more pricey than the cultured stone America's Bath company offered. We would recommend America’s Bath Company.
