Myself my Fiance as well as my two children checked into Americas Best Value Inn on 3/27/14 to room 234 which was on a Friday night. I immediately turned the air on an for about 10 minutes the air was o.k, but then it started to blow warm heat out while the air was still on 62 degrees. I actually let it go for the night because I thought it just needed a little time to get started. As Saturday came it continued to repeat the same characteristics,so that is when I proceeded to call the office. So after I would say about four to five calls to the front office the maintenance man came up an changed the air filter! Which I had turned the unit off prior to him coming so it could cool down incase he had to do any major repairs.Once the filters were in he turned the air on and said (there you go), and I thought that the problem was fixed. So on his way out I advised him that the microwave had a shortage in it and he said that he would grab one from another room and went on his way! So no sooner than he was gone the air went back to warm heat once again, and I called the Office & [redacted] answered the phone only to say (wait wait,wait,wait i'm not going to have this all night. So in maybe an hour the maintenance man came back to the room with another set of room keys right across the hall to room 234. So me an my family were satisfied for the moment because we had some cold air and we could actually get comfortable. After putting the kids to sleep me an my Fiance sat up to watch television and I say maybe 2:00 or 3:00am rolled around and my Fiance noticed a bug on the wall an tried to kill it with her shoe. And as she examined the bottom of her shoe there was nothing so she looked down at the carpet an saw loose a carpet string. So about 5 min. later I saw a roach climbing up the wall an made sure that I killed it and put it in the trash. So I reported that to the office I say about 3:30am an the clerk said that she could not do anything about it. So eventually we were put out by 6 officers for complaining.Product_Or_Service: Room 237kOrder_Number: noneAccount_Number: noneDesired SettlementWe paid 336.30 for an 8 night stay an only stayed 4 of those nights. I would like to have had half of our refund be given to us atleast but we only received 119.28 which was a ripoff. So I feel now that we deserve the full refund because we were treated very rude and I feel like my family was not justified at all having to wake up with 6 uniform officers at our room door patting me down and bursting in on my Fiance with no clothes on. I feel that real justice should be my full refund. Thank you.Business Response First I would like to address the immediate issue concerning the room stay, rent, and policies of our facility. Mr [redacted]'s initial stay was billed daily for which became a problem for the staff to collect on a daily basis. He later converted to a weekly stay and was explained the hotel's refund policy thoroughly. Unfortunately we as a daily rental facility had to end our relationship with Mr [redacted] only because of the aggressive vitriol used towards our staff and management. Normally we do not issue refunds for cases where the police are called to settle room, customer staff issues. Our policy for issuance of a refund is only issued to daily rentals. Our weekly rates are reduced only as a courtesy to our guest for revenue purposes and it's based. It is not in our policy to normally issue refunds to our weekly rental guest for it is not advantageous for neither the business nor the guest unless circumstances warrant the losses on both ends. Mr [redacted] is a recurring guest with us and we did experience problems with other guest accusations of drug use. This did not detour our staff from extending the accommodations and hospitality to Mr [redacted] and his family. However, as a business in the Mid South try not to exercise the right to refuse service, but unfortunately we were left with no alternatives because of Mr [redacted]'s aggressive nature towards our staff. We have to protect our business interest, our staff's safety as well as our guest safety. Therefore as a courtesy we issued the refund based on our daily room rate rental and refunded the remaining difference. This courtesy was issued to Mr [redacted] because of our hospitality policy when under the circumstances of his exit it would not have been given. We have our rooms inspected 2 weekly by professionals and have not had any issues as mentioned in the original complaint. Shortly after Mr [redacted]'s check out, our facility received a high passing [redacted] from the [redacted] County Health Department. We apologized for the inconvenience and accommodated Mr [redacted] with a refund. Both are within the discretion of our policy.

on june 19th I booked a room on a site supported by this hotel called [redacted] however the website was making clerical errors and submitted the bookon june 19th I booked a room on a site supported by this hotel called [redacted] however the website was making clerical errors and submitted the booking in error when I got to the hotel the individual at the desk was very rude and not helpful. after attempting to rebook the room for the correct dates had failed I was forced to leave with no hotel stay . I then found that my credit card was fraudulently charged by this company Desired SettlementI will be seeking a full refund as well as other legal remedies a police report has been filed.Business Response Based on a conversation the Revdex.com had with the company, they state that the consumer has to go back to that third party for a refund. They state the consumer paid the third party and not them.
