Review: Purchased advertised 1968 Corvette Convertible complete minus Engine and Transmission and had repair and restoration on frame. Multiple phone calls and difficulty in getting agreed and contracted work done and after 3 years finally received car and it arrived stripped of parts that where on the car and mentioned in photographs and contract as being a complete car. Gas tank and gas tank hardware gone, front windshield and all trim to front windshield not there, mirror on driver's side, carpet, assorted dash and instrumentation parts and trim missing, assorted underbody parts missing. Also description of car not in the shape as mentioned when it arrived, assorted chips and cracks not elucidated on contract. After searching corvette forum, I found multiple bad reviews and discussions of the same type of issues that I had. Owner is [redacted] and General Manager is [redacted] constantly screens calls and there is no follow up for years. [redacted] runs the business from over 500 miles away and these individuals promise the world but after they receive your money then disappear.Desired Settlement: Partial refund of my purchase price as car was not in the state it was claimed on contract when purchased. This car is not worth the 9500.00 dollars I paid and the real state of disrepair and missing parts, places this car in the 3500-4000 dollar range. I completely paid for the frame restoration and this was largely completed to stated level. Return of all original equipment stripped off car when in their possession or high level restoration parts to replace what was sold or parted out.
