Dear Mr [redacted],Thank you for your concerns regarding the extinguisher service you had received by our technician. It is our number one priority to retain as much feedback from our customers so we may improve our customer service skills. All concerns are handled with our undivided attention and will...

assure you will have it resolved. To clarify your statement "They coerce an employee to sign a form that seeks their approval”, at no time would our technicians "coerce” any employee/company. This is not our way of acquiring customers. Each technician wears a uniform (T- shirt, Jeans or slacks) with the company logo and name large enough to show where he is from. If the service was not wanted or denied the technician would have gladly walked away or would have came back at a more convenient time. Our service technician is a professional technician and was there to keep your location certified and up to date so you are not penalized by the fire department. We have been servicing your location since "2014” and invoices have been paid. Now, if your staffemployee misunderstood the technician I do apologize for their misunderstanding.Doing a little bit more research we found a call in the system to set up service for your locations (1 call). A call came in by [redacted] on February 7 of 2014 at 1:53 pm requesting extinguisher service for all of your locations. Your account was placed on an automatic route so we are sure your location will not be penalized. We dispatched the technician out and it has been the same technician each year. I am not sure why you would assume we would randomly send a technician out and provide free service. The 2" call we received was October 18" of 2016, now informing us we are not under any contract and no authorization had been given for any type of service. Sir, we are only providing you service because it was requested. You made a statement; "when you call to complain they say a manager will call back but they don't call”. I am not sure if you remember our conversation on the very same day of your second call (October 18" of 2016) at 4:46 PM, but I personally called you back, when you answered I stated; "hello, this is [redacted] from America's Fines Fire'. I am baffled that you would state; “Did not give a name'. I then tried to explain the service to you, but you didn't allow me to get a word in.I would like to address your concerns regarding our call center. Yes, we do have a call center (just as doctors do and other businesses) because we do have technicians out in the field and are not available to answer the phones at all times, so we did hire a call center so you do reach a live person and not just a machine or no answer at all. All calls are recorded and entered into the system, so a follow-up call can be placed to our customers. You may have called in the past, but refused to leave a message or our call center may have entered your information wrong in our system (we apologize if this may have happened). You will find your zero balance behind this letter and once again I would like to thank you for your time and patience regarding this matter and hope the best for you and your company. If you should have any further questions please contact us at the information listed below.Sincerely,[redacted] Customer Service Department America's Finest Fire Protection

Review: I own 2 coin laundries and received an invoice for both my locations saying they serviced my fire extinguishers. I never called them out or authorized them to do any service . On the invoice they show approved by JR approved service I dont know who that is. My contact number is on the wall so I should have been called. I tried calling and the only number you can call is an answering service and no one calls back.Desired Settlement: I dont feel that I owe them any money and I do not want them to ever do this again.

Dear [redacted],

Thank you for your concerns regarding the extinguisher service you had

received by our technician. It is our number one priority to retain as much feedback

from our customers so we may improve our customer service skills. All concerns are

handled with our undivided attention and will assure you will have it resolved.

In further investigating your account, we found the technician was in the area

providing other current customer extinguisher service. As the technician had

completed his service, he will try to expand his rout and pick up new customers. As

would any company would do so, but do to the confusion as to who authorized the

service we would, gladly remove the charges and would like you to keep the certification

at no extra cost to you for the rest of "2014"

Once again I would like to thank you for your time and patience regarding this

matter and hope the best for you and your company! If you should have any further

questions please contact us at the information listed below.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me as long as the charges for both my locations are removed since approval to perform work was not given at wither location [redacted] and [redacted] . I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Review: I have a 5lb fire extinguisher at my small business. I normally have a local guy come and check my fire extinguishers; I have worked with him for over 5 years. One day, a technician from America's Finest Fire Protection came in (without an appointment or previous call) and told one of my employees that they needed to perform a service for my fire extinguisher. I have told this company before that I did not want any services performed by them but they disregarded my wishes and forced themselves onto my employee. I was not present at the time and the America's Finest employee convinced my employee of letting him check the fire extinguisher. Now, I have never paid more than $10-15 per extinguisher for servicing. He checked the fire extinguisher without informing my employee how much the fee was and sent us an invoice a week later. America's Finest Fire Protection charged me $61.62 for checking one fire extinguisher. I can buy a brand new fire extinguisher for $39.97. Why would I pay 120% more for services that I did not even want? I have called their 800 telephone number four times already and nothing has been resolved. The person that answers the phone says that the only thing that she could do is "send a message to the billing department." I have "sent" messages to the billing department four times now and they never give me a call back. I want to get this resolved as soon as possible and never deal with this company again. Their business ethics are so askew and the way they deal with these problems are ridiculous. They can't just ignore people they rip off and hope that people will pay it. I refuse to pay this bill until someone from this company contacts me, apologizes for their behavior, and gives me a fair price for a service that should not have exceeded $15. No respectable company comes without an appointment and charges without giving a quote. My employee would have never let them service our fire extinguishers if she knew what they were charging.Desired Settlement: Reassess their charges, give me a fair price, and apologize for their behavior. They manipulated my employee for services that we did not want from them.

Review: This company came to my dental office today and "serviced" the fire extinguisher without my permission. I was not there this morning when they came and they convinced my employees that they were supposed to be there to service the fire extinguisher. I DID NOT ask this company to come. This company has been told twice to not step foot in our office anymore. They attempted to collect for service in 2011 when they again convinced employees that they were there at my request. It took a phone call and a letter to get them to reverse the charges. They attempted to come in last year but luckily my wife was there that day and firmly told them to leave because of their dishonest actions of the previous year. Then today they came in and did it again. This time they took the extinguisher that I own along with the inspection records that we have filled out for our office safety documentation. They replaced that extinguisher with one of their own and told my staff that our extinguisher was obsolete. I have not yet received a bill as this happened today. My wife attempted to call the business during normal hours. She was put on hold by the "call center" and was told that there was no one to take my call. When my wife asked to speak to a manager, she was told that they were just a call center and that my wife could not leave a voicemail message. I do not want to receive a bill, and for the third time, I don't want them stepping foot in my office.Desired Settlement: I do not want to receive a bill and I want them to stay out of my office. I want my records back, and they can send a letter of apology too. Thank you.

Review: Americas Finest Fire / Fire Service Corp are charging me for services that I did not request or approved from July 2nd 2013. According to their documents [redacted] (no last name) mgr approved. I keep getting invoices and statements asking for payment totalling $245.01. For over a month I have called the different numbers on the statements and the call goes to a calling center. When the call center answers I keep asking for a supervisor to call me and they tell me that someone will call me within 48hrs but no luck. I found a local number which I called several times and only rings and rings with no option to leave a messages. I have contacted the local Fire Marshall and filed a complaint. I have also contacted the State Fire Marshall and file a complaint. I have done business with many companies over my 25 years of experience and never encounter a case like this. Everything sounds like a scam and I am passing the word around to all 50 [redacted] and other business in San Diego County.ADesired Settlement: I want Americas Finest / Fire Service Corp to STOP billing me.
