I have already compthe room there will be no further actions on my part I have turned all footage of the incident over to the fire marshal and owners of the hotel They are aware of the situation we are compliant with and passed 100% on my fire alarm inspection and simplex inspection I cannot argue with footage from the hotel If this child is not her son she seems to be with and the responsible party to the child There will be no further actions on my part

I did contact the customer directly She had an issue with her room The heater in her room got very hot and we had to replace it She was not charged for the room She also complains about the fire alarm going off, and it was her son that pulled the alarm She says that it was not him I have it on camera She claimed that the entire 3rd floor was full of smoke This was not true it did smell for a short amount of time but no smoke, we cleaned everything up and put a secondary heater because she was afraid of the brand new PTAC unit we put in to replace the old one The fire alarm didn't even go off there was such little smoke I had the simplex check our alarm panel and the fire marshal came out they said there would be no way there was enough smoke to set off the alarm for the small black part that was on the board I did not charge her for Friday or Saturday night even tho Friday night was just fine I have done all I can do with her There is just no making this girl happy This was a hockey group and they did not watch there kids during there stay so we had multiple guest disappointed not for the alarm going off but the kids running slamming doors ect We asked the parents to please make sure there kids are all in there rooms and quite multiple times Kayla Cluff General Manager AmericInn of Grand Forks, ND 701-780-

The manager never contacted me as she claimsWe had multiple parents on the team ask for her to contact us and she never respondedI had to call until she answered the phone to actually connect with herThe heater in our room didn't just get hot, it filled the room with smoke and smoldered the wiresMy son was with me when the alarm went offI asked for a copy of the video and screen shots of the kids around the alarmShe never provided itShe did tell me that there were too many kids around the alarm for her to see faces clearlyEvery single one of the kids on our team were accounted for by parentsAnd again, my son was WITH ME in our roomNone of the parents were ever contacted about our children or the noise levelI have asked many times to be put into contact with her bossShe has refused

The manager never contacted me as she claims. We had multiple parents on the team ask for her to contact us and she never responded.
