I am rejecting this response because: 1/off is ridiculous, due to multiple problemsA very short-sighted, penny-wise dollar-foolish response, and very poor customer service when you consider all the bad press this will cause this hotel and manager It's not like I'm asking for something unreasonable- I didn't complained about my frig not cooling properly (and it didn't), or that my room wasn't clean (it wasn't), or even that the breakfast was poorly stocked...with these serious issues I had, other hotels would have no issue with a full refund Since Tiki wants to take the cheap and poor customer service route, I have reported this to the management company and hotel owner, so Tiki should be hearing from them as wellAlso, now my other family members, that were staying there as well, are posting negative online reviews for issues they had with their stay, ie dirty rooms, poor breakfast etc

We are so sorry that you experienced both a disruption and a broken toilet, if we had an additional room it would have been offered but the weekend was booked solid. part at that time of night and I feel horrible that this happened.It is never a good idea for the front desk to "Hand the phone over the counter" for a guest to speak to a manager during checkout time when it can be resolved at a later time via credit card since we live in a digital age.Half off of a stay is the most we are able to do, further discounts on a future stay is our method to resolve in most cases.I'll be happy to discount a future stay as well if you have any interest or will be in the area again and we'd love another try to impress you with our hotel.Sincerely,Tiki [redacted]General manager
