In September 2009, I purchased a furnace, an air condition and an [redacted] automatic humidifier from AmeriHome H.V.A.C. that was installed September or October 2009. In the fall 2011, the humidifiers’ outdoor temperature sensor control panel stopped working. I have a 5-year warranty. I contacted Mr. [redacted], the owner of the business for a replacement sensor. Mr. [redacted] did not replace the humidifiers’ outdoor temperature sensor control panel in fall 2011/Winter 2012. I call [redacted] concerning the warranty and I was told the installer had to return the old sensor to receive the replacement sensor. Mr. [redacted] had me to disconnect the old sensor to send to him in Wisconsin since it is a 2-hour drive to where I live in Riverdale, IL. I disconnected the sensor and sent it Mr. [redacted]; he has received the replacement sensor back in June/July 2012. Mr. [redacted] explained that the sensor should be installed when it is cold outside for a proper reading. Well, it is now December. I had scheduled an appointment with Mr. [redacted] to install the sensor on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. I called Mr. [redacted] the morning of Sunday, November 4, 2012 to confirm our appointment. Mr. [redacted] did not answer his phone. I again called Mr. [redacted] at 12:25 p.m. concerning our appointment because he was a no show. Again, Mr. [redacted] did not answer his phone. Mr. [redacted] did not honor our scheduled appointment to come and install the replacement sensor. I have called Mr. [redacted] for about 2-weeks to reschedule an appointment. However, Mr. [redacted] would not answer his phone. I have left Mr. [redacted] several messages during each of my phone calls to reschedule an appointment. My last message to Mr. [redacted] was since he has not returned any of my phone calls; I assumed that he has no intentions on honoring the warranty, so he will hear from my attorney. Still, Mr. [redacted] did not return my call to reschedule an appointment. Nonetheless, I have also called [redacted] to see if they could get Mr. [redacted] to schedule another appointment being that my warranty is running out. An [redacted]'s representative spoke with Mr. [redacted] and called me back and said that Mr. [redacted] was waiting to service my humidifier when he services a company, which I believe he said is located in Lombard, IL. Not sure if I have that location correct. However, Mr. [redacted] has not replaced my sensor, nor has he called me to reschedule an appointment and I am not sure if by not replacing the sensor has caused any damage to the furnace or even the humidifier.
