Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted] In response to the complaint filed against Amerimax Building Products, here is our report of findings concerning this specific customer. We believe that this is not an issue that we are responsible for mitigating as the homeowner has shown that...

the windows as installed at his residence are not installed in a manner that allows for the units to operate at the tested ratings they are designed for. On 3/2/15: spoke with home owner, [redacted].  Discussed his air infiltration issue at length. The home owner was able to put a 2 foot straight edge on the bottom frame of the window and had a 1/4" gap at the center.  Informed the home owner that it appears to be an installation issue and surmised that there was not proper support under the bottom of the window and this was allowing the frame to sag.  Let the home owner know that Amerimax cannot fix installation issue and to contact [redacted] to remedy the issue. This is where call ended. After receiving 2nd warranty claim on 4/7/15, contacted [redacted] to reach out to Mr. [redacted] regarding his window installation.   Informed them ofdetermination there was an issue with the window installation. They said they would call him.  Spoke again with [redacted] on 4/18/15. Homeowner is claiming that because all windows are bowing it cannot be an installation issue.  He did not contact [redacted] to come out and look at windows since first conversation with him. Informed him that if he still wanted a Tech from Amerimax to come out and look at them we would. Also let him know that if it was determined by the Tech it was an installation issue that there would be trip charges accessed.  He became verbally irate and began cursing and threatening further action with the Revdex.com. Told him that conversation would end if such language continued.  He inquired about the cost of the trip charges and refused offer. After this he hung up. [redacted] Plant Manager Amerimax Building Products

Mr. [redacted] must continue to seek resolution of his specific issue through the company he purchased them from — [redacted]. We suggest he contact them again, as a single phone call in August of 2014 seems not to have generated any response. They are still in business.

Homeowner called me on 5/1 and...

left a message asking about her manufacturers rebate.  I called her back to notify her that I had indeed received a rebate card from her and her information was logged.  I logged her rebate qualifying information on April 1st, 2016 on my tracking spreadsheet.  I explained to homeowner that this promotion did not end until May 15th. Homeowners had until May 15th to submit paperwork for the product they had purchased.  At that point I would submit all the accumulated rebate cards to my AP department in Norcross Georgia to run payments for all homeowners who participated.  Homeowner was satisfied with this information. On 5/17 I received another voice mail from homeowner with her inquiry about her rebate card.  I returned her call same day and let her know that her rebate information was submitted via email to our AP department for further processing.  I did not give homeowner an ETA on payment.  There was no promise date for receiving payment.  I explained that it would take a little while for the rebate process in AP and for a check to be cut. I explained to her that I had submitted the information to our AP team, and the process was now in their department.  I provided homeowner the [redacted] number for the [redacted] department, who processes rebate checks. On 6/7/16 I have verified with our Accounts Payable Management team that the check for $200 will be issued and sent out in the next day or so. Thanks very much, Ryan P[redacted]Customer Care ManagerAmerimax Building Products[redacted]

Our warranty supervisor has made contact with [redacted] at [redacted] to discuss this.  This conversation took place on 8/16.  [redacted] had mentioned that the broken unit was from a renter.  [redacted] tried to contact Ms. [redacted] 3 times to set up a call to get this taken care of.  [redacted]...

has taken the glass unit for the home and mentioned he would take care of it.  Cracked glass is not a manufacturing item and is not covered under warranty.   [redacted] said he would call Ms. [redacted] to schedule a time to fix it.
