Our company was being billed differently than original agreement.We were being billed every four weeks instead of monthly, which was the original problem. This was after six years of good service while renting floor mats. The driver,[redacted] did a great job.[redacted] wrote down our credit every month and promised to fix the problem. We decided to try ordering clothing for the mechanic, we were billed for the clothes weeks in a row before we received the product. We decided after paying over $4900 for the two mats and being billed for clothing week before we received them, to cancel their services. Our total correct balance for the products and service we received was paid in full. Now a collection agency is claiming that we did not turn in 3 pairs of pants, which we disagree, and the credits that were to be applied were not. It is of utmost importance to AmeriPride Services, Inc. to provide consistent, quality service & accurate route accounting. In regard to our service delivery frequency, there appears to be a clear misunderstanding. Every 4 week service frequency is often referred to as "once a month" service. However, because of months that can have 5 weeks of a certain delivery day, a customer will sometimes have a second delivery in the same calendar month because a full 4 week period has transpired. Essentially, in a 52 week period, a customer can most likely anticipate 13 deliveries a year. This is of course subject to how their specified delivery day falls into a calendar month on an every 4 week service delivery frequency. If this was not communicated clearly or correctly on our part, we apologize for any misunderstanding.In regard to the customer's complaint of a collection attempt, I have found that this stems from an accounting error on our part. After further review of the account, it appears that the amount due to bring the account to a zero balance was mistakenly reported as delinquent. We have updated our account information to show that this account is closed in good status & paid as agreed. Any collection attempts have been removed from the account & the 3rd party collector has been notified to remove any reporting in regard to this matter. As a result, the customer will have no traceable collection attempt against their credit file in regard to this matter. Again, AmeriPride Services, Inc. offers a most sincere apology to our former customer for any difficulties or problems they have experienced. This isolated instance does not accurately reflect the high level of customer service standards we work so diligently to maintain.
