happy to respondPlease understand AMERIPRINTS has been in business for over years and served hundreds of thousands of Live Scan customers with a flawless record following the state mandated terms of agreement to process applicant fingerprint submissions
I have personally reviewed and investigated the applicant's completed process and have concluded our operator and our business process is in complete compliance with California DOJ policy as per penal code XXXXX-XXXXX series of the state of California
It is unfortunate that fingerprints change with time and become worn; however, the California Department of Justice mandates a second set of fingerprints based on the state and FBI IAFIS systems inability to read worn fingerprintsIt is not in the best interest of our business to require this mandate unless otherwise mandated by the stateAs mentioned within the applicant's letter the state licensing agency is conducting a name checkThis means the process is being completed as intended with no initial wrong doing on our partThe applicant by law is not required to make a second payment as a result and in this case the applicant did not pay a second timeWe have overwhelming sympathy for the applicant's need to deal with a state of California licensing agency but we can't be held responsible for their inability to have a swift process in place to deal with these issues
The explanation provided is the same process we follow for every person that we fingerprint with poor quality printsIt is our goal to provide an efficient process that follows all state mandated requirements in which we have done in this caseWe look forward to providing service for the applicant in the future
