Amerisave Mortgage

I was bombarded with phone calls, never a message left. I responded to an email of there's on 5/29, stating I was not in a position to refinance at this time. On 6/13, I received a letter from them with my credit score; which they did NOT have permission to pull. Looking more, I see that they pulled my score on 5/28!!!! So, they had already pulled my credit score before even knowing if I was going to refinance. Their claim that they did not impact my credit score is a complete LIE!!! So, now I have to work to get it back up before I can actually do anything about my financial situation, which like many at this time, is not good! I know I'm not the only one that they have frankly, screwed over! Isn't there something that can be done about them???

I feel I was a victim of a bait and switch scam. I thought this would be a good lender to use as there were some good reviews online and on searches for refinancing. I had a nice phone conversation with the loan originator and was sent docs to sign only to find out then that there is a $500 application fee. Then I would have to pay for my appraisal on top of that at $495. Extremely disappointed in this.
