We were contracted to do a full roof replacement on the house and silver coat on garageThe customer was satisfied with our roof replacement on her house and agreed to wait until better conditions to complete silver coat on garage in spring/Summer.The customer called to schedule in February/ march and we informed here the conditions were not yet good enough to install the productThe silver coat must be applied when temperatures stay above degrees for hoursThe conditions also need to be dry for at least hoursAfter communicating this with the customer she was upset that we would not install against manufacture specificationsShe noted that she was selling the home and just wanted this project doneWe talked with her more and she agreed to schedule this work once the conditions allowed I (Josh) called her multiple times and left messages to schedule the work with no response backThe customer then called back a few weeks ago using inappropriate language and demanding a refund of $( also stating that I had not called to schedule which was not accurate) She wont let us complete the contract, which we have been more then willing to do when the conditions allow We have been misrepresented in her complaint, and find it important to note this is our first and only complaint on Revdex.com.This would have been resolved without a complaint if the customer would of allowed us the opportunity to complete the work without calling,bullying and using inappropriate language At this point we can offer a $refund

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:This response is inaccurate When I inquired about the silver coat I was never told about any "conditions" that need to be met What I was told was the installer would use a torch to keep the roof dry as well as seal the coating It was months later that I was told that all these conditions had to be met I also never agreed to wait until summer as my plans were to have the house on the market by April 1st This can also be verified by the realtor I engaged to assist in selling my home as well as I have attached the email I sent to ***@ameriserv.com on Feb 16th inquiring about finishing the roof and also verifying what I have stated that I was preparing to get my house on the market with in the next month.An appointment to have this work done was made for March 23rd On this date no crew showed up nor did they call or follow up as to why the crew did not show up or to reschedule It was Josh who made the March 23rd appointment with me by phone NEVER ONCE has Josh or Chris been proactive in contacting me to get the work done I have been the one who has been proactive in attempting to get the work done and as I mention when it is scheduled no one shows up I have responded to Josh when he has called but at one time I asked for email correspondence because I was having a phone issue and that is the only time a reply has not been returned I will gladly offer up my phone records to verify this.I will not accept $ Chris stated several times that $was added to the bill for the silver coat - he never itemized that component on the quote it was verbally stated by Chris when he gave me the quote.I also asked Josh to come over and look at the roof as I felt it was not correct and did not reflect the roofing pictures I was shown When he came over and discussed the roof and the issues I had with it I asked him to send a person with a magnet, a common practice by roofing companies is to use the magnet to pick up the stray nails This never happened I then spoke with Chris about this as well and he also never sent anyone to pick up the roofing nails I have had to comb my yard to pick up the nails left behind with one of those nails ending up penetrating my shoe and entering my foot This whole project by Ameriserv was sub standard work. I will only accept what was quoted to me for the silver coating - $500.Sincerely,*** ***

The conditions also need to be dry for at least 24 hours. After communicating this with the customer she was upset that we would not install against manufacture specifications. She noted that she was selling the home and just wanted this project done. We talked with her more and she agreed to schedule this work once the conditions allowed.  I (Josh) called her multiple times and left messages to schedule the work with no response back. The customer then called back a few weeks ago using inappropriate language and demanding a refund of $500 ( also stating that I had not called to schedule which was not accurate) .
