Ameritech Restore Reviews (2)

We hired this contractor in August of 2016 to do some remodeling work on our home. We were told it would take about 30 days to complete the work, but it was not finished until March of 2017 and the whole process was a total nightmare.

- He failed to get a permit resulting in a stop-work notice and delays
- He unfairly charged us to re-do some work due to his team's failure to meet code and a failed inspection and threatened to stop working if we did not pay.
- The workmanship was poor on every level.
- The crew had no respect whatsoever for our home resulting in piles of trash which included food, beer bottles, bottles of urine on our roof, and damaged landscaping throughout the yard.
- He caused extensive damage to our roof which resulted in water damage in our home from rain multiple times. When asked to protect the roof he said he did not have the resources to do so and we were forced to hire a 3rd party to tarp the roof.
- He lied to us and to his subcontractors regularly throughout the project.
- We had a subcontractor knock on our door on a Sunday saying he was never paid.
- He finally finished the project and made roof repairs after he was given a citation from the Registrar of Contractors and a hearing was scheduled.

Hiring this contractor was the biggest mistake we have ever made. Do not hire him.

I purchased a townhouse built by this sigle owner called the Palms in Mesa, new build 2 floor 2 bed 2 and 1/2 bath. Workmanship was not the best many flaws with the interior, painting and flooring was placed by unskilled forgien labors who most likely was rushed to complete for sale, outside french doors have gaps from outside allowing water, sewer is often backed up, twice in 10 mo casusing sewer water to back flow into the shower, toilets etc. The contact person who is assigned to fix/repair issues is non existent to help with issues. I would not purchase if I made a closer inspection before I made the offer to buy. A new company has purchased most of the existing lots (Horton Homes). If you plan to buy here, do your homework!
