On December 19, our technician was on site for a no heat service call. Technician arrived on site and found the compressor trying to start at amps and immediately hitting internal overloadThe compressor was in mechanical failure. The compressor must be operational in
order for the heat pump to operate. Since the compressor was not operational the heat pump would not work creating the “no heat” service callWe quoted the customer on repairs and customer approved the compressor replacement. On December 20, our technician returned to siteTechnician installed new compressor and added lbsof Rto the 5Hsystem. Unit started and cycled from degrees to degrees. All operations were at that timeWe then received a phone call from the customer on 02/22/asking us to come out tomorrow at am, customer later called requesting we be on site at am on 02/23/2017. Our technician arrived onsite on 02/22/at am (months after the initial service call). Upon arrival our technician checked in with *** *** and building managerOur technician was briefed on unit leaking and the repairs that were made prior to our technicians arrival. Our technician was told by *** that he replaced a defective gasket on the output water line and he blew out a plugged drain line Our technician removed the unit from the wall, scraped the pan clean and put dissolving condensate pan treatment tablets in condensate pan, flushed water through pans and lines. Drain is draining properly. Inspected water lines and gaskets, good condition. Used thread sealer on input and output water lines. Tested water lines insuring no water is leaking and connections are sealed and tight. Fully tested unit in heating and cooling mods. Everything working well at this time. When Mr*** called our office on 03/01/he was calling because the home owners wanted to know who they should send their damage claims too. We then told Mr*** that we did not feel the work completed by us caused any damages (especially when these damages occurred months after we were there) but if he would like we would be happy to file an insurance claim. Insurance would have investigated the claim and if there was any proof that the damages were a direct result of the work we performed they would take care of the claimAfter Mr*** was notified of this we never heard anything else from him until we were contacted by Revdex.com several months after (08/29/2017)

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I was never given a call or email back regarding insurance claim. I would have filed a complaint with their insurance company. The leak happened slowly over the 2 months that's how 4 floors were affected.
